Thank you, I can’t stop picking at my scalp so this is so helpful!!
thank youuuu i have a bunch of leftover beads from pick pads i bought on etsy and wanted to start making my own :)
Thank you so much for making this and linking the products too! I came across this brilliant idea on another app and was searching for how I could do this at home myself. Much appreciated ❤️
Yay! I'm so glad it helped you! I had the same experience and that's why I made the video. Please let me know if you have any questions, I'm happy to help!
Amazing!!! I love these! They are such satisfying fidgets!! Wonderful job making them!🤩🤩
Thank you, I have been searching how to make these, I didn't realise it was this simple. :)
Can I use crystal chips in these? Absolutly love this video! thank you!
If they aren't sharp, I'm sure they would work. That's why I liked the mosaic stones because they looked crystal-y and they weren't sharp.
Are these able to be reused/remade again?
Would you recommend using a UV lamp to quicken up the curing process?
No, I have not tried that. It's really a pretty short cure time, about 4 hours.
Thank you so much for the tutorial. One question: is the Vaseline necessary? Thank you in advance for your advice.
Yes, you have to use a thin layer of vaseline or aquaphore or the pads will be impossible to get out when they are set up. It's the same idea as buttering a pan before you cook a cake. It helps it release from the pan when it's done.
Thanks so much for responding!
Can you make these with silicone caulk from the hardware store?
No, that kind of silicone dries too hard.
Is there a way to make these so the silicone is softer? I’ve seen some rubber like ones but I haven’t found any diy videos for those.
These are pretty soft. The softness depends on the type of silicone you use. I think you will find that this silicone is the right consistency you will want.
@@alecaandtim Thank you. I will try it.
Awesome video!! Where did you order the silicone from?
I got the silicone from Amazon. There is a link to it in the video description.
Can you do this with Elmer's glue?
No, that would be too hard when it cured.
Can you do this with a thin layer of hot glue?
No, hot glue hardens too much. Silicone is extremely flexible which is why it works so well.

hi! thanks for the video, i'm from Brasil and i was looking exactly for this. i have one question, may u could help me - here in Brasil i can't find this silicone using this name 🫠 would u explain me better about it so i can research more and buy it here? tysm 🫶🏻
This is liquid silicone for mold making 20A clear is designed for a working life of about 30-50 minutes at room temperature. If you look into silicone you will find that it comes in classes of consistencies. This one will be a food grade, flexible silicone. I hope that helps.
