  • Whilst sorting the garage, we stumbled upon Tina's Grandfathers old tool box. So we had a look inside.

I think you're right about the "brakeshoe adjusting tool", made one myself to adjust the rear brakes on my MGB! Have a great year!

The Disk with holes looks as if it is an Insect screen for a Tilley style Lamp. opens up and goes around the "Central Tube" near the bottom to close the hole in the glass, to keep insects from certain death. Happy new year to both of you.

That sprung disc with holes in it, is actually the prototype of PacMan. They later decided that the lightening holes were not necessary, since it was going to live inside of a computer with virtually no registered mass anyway, so they just optimized the design.
The stick with the rubber suction cups at each end, is called an "Indianpinne" in Swedish. Roughly translated Indian stick. And it's not referring to the Indians in India, since those usually go for two-strokes anyway. But the other Indians, used to make fire with these, because their pre-heaters for their Detroit engines was not invented yet. Even Detroit wasn't founded yet, so who knows what they were called. There should be some inscription on a totem-pole describing the whole saga.
