My grandfather used to salt them in an oak barrel He liked eating suckers more than trout. There was a small stream on the farm. Every couple of years if the water was high enough there would be a sucker run up the stream just like the pictures you see of salmon. Wall to wall suckers if you spooked them it was a tidal wave of suckers going up or down stream

Yeah, we still do some trapping. but its getting harder to get enough footage to film. life gets busy but hopefully some day we put out some more trapping vids

nope. only fish when its super shallow. the fish hold up in the holes and dont really leave. just swim circles around you .
