I feel such kinship with you ever since I've started watching your channel (2 years ago probably), even though we live on opposite sides of the world. Watching your videos makes me all cozy and warm inside, and I get the feeling you're my type of person. I'm currently pregnant with my second, they'll get here in late March and the gap with my firstborn son will be 2 years and 3 months apart. I often think how hard it'll be with a VERY energetic toddler and a newborn, but your videos give me hope and help lessen my anxiety in this topic. Thank you for that. Also, I absolutely love what you've done with the reno and your place looks like a dream home for me, very aestetic. I'm happy you've fallen into better times of motherhood and I hope it'll last a good while!

I have an almost 2 1/2 year old with baby #2 on the way. I have a lot of the same mind sets and feels that you have/had. Love watching your videos. I can image it's much easier to film with one kiddo but I'd love to see a raw day in the life with both kids. You do a great job and showing the truth in life and how you feel and also just want to see how you manage everything day to day even if it is pure chaos!

We live in a 2-bedroom, 900 sq ft apartment with our toddler & baby on the way, so I’m currently working on organizing my toddler’s room / closet and trying to be brave and switch to a toddler bed before baby gets here 😅
Also - the wall down looks SO good! Everything is so open + so much light 🤎 loveeee 😍

We've been in our place for a bit over a year now and have done all of the renovations ourselves. It saves so much money and people can't believe how little certain things cost when you're willing to do it yourself and search for great deals (Washroom for 6k with everything custom and heated floors vs the 35k an acquaintance just paid a contractor to do). We also switched out a bunch of windows and added new insulation since the Canada greener home grant helps with the costs so if you haven't looked into that you definitely should if it's not too late!

My son turns 2 in like 2 weeks and I couldn't agree more, they are sooo silly at this age. My boy goes out of his way to tell "jokes" or be Goofy 🤪

I definitely understand what you mean about having a not so safe environment for your baby as your house is not finished and projects are midway along. My house is/feels a mess. We were renovating the walls, when unfortunately our funds got 100% depleted suddenly and we’ve been stuck with ugly old walls with wallpaper peeling, and skirting board gone exposing the old brick work under… with an 11 month old. It’s affecting me mentally like nothing else and we’ve been like this for longer than I can say:(

By the way, you could easily make a short 4-12 min video on toy organisation, I was in a market for one for a while and there weren't many good blogs or videos that were functional and made sense :)
Same for old baby clothes that I was planning to keep for next babies.

Do you have tips on potty training? My son is 1.5 and interested but I have no idea what to do. Also, I’m glad to hear a parent say that 1-2 is a struggle because I’m in the thick of it and it’s definitely hard.
Yes a potty training video would be fun I’m about to cross that road with my 2 year old. I already read the ph crap potty training book but I’m nervous to take the leap. Especially with my newborn finnegan I had in September
Just had this thought - think you might want to take a clip, like 3 seconds, of the two boys every day and post it after a year? And post it again after ... say, 18 years?
I have never felt so validated I always tell people that 1-2 was absolutely miserable for me 😂😂 I loved my son but chasing him keeping him out of stuff him being mobile and not being able to communicate or receive direction = disaster. I hated going to peoples houses that weren’t baby proofed. It was very isolating lol. It made me feel better about myself for not loving that period of time as much as every other phase.
Hi, he’s having a light in his room? My baby sleeps only if pitch black and I don’t understand how we will do it with a toddler bed 🤦🏼♀️
