- There are so many Taco Spots in Las Vegas. Ask someone what their favorite taco place is, and you'll get so many different answers. Here is my Top 5 Tacos in Las Vegas.
We have an advantage that we live in the West Coast of the United States so we have many amazing people of Mexican decent in this area. I am very critical of what makes a good taco, so this list is my personal favorite tacos of all of Las Vegas. And Las Vegas has so many taco shops , but not many easily impress me. A homemade tortilla is a must. This is something I'm very passionate about. If I see any store bought tortillas , I know the taco won't be good. Good meat, toppings, maybe even salsas make such a difference in a good taco. Below are the locations we went to but you must watch till the end to find out who made it to number 1.

Norma is so cute and down to earth...and so knowledgeable. On my next trip to Vegas I'm going to Gordo and Pastor. They are right across from each other on the strip. I love the fact they serve french fries with the tacos. Don't see that in Texas.

I been eating tacos El Gordo since before they came to the US. We would visit family in Tijuana BC and that would be one of many spots we'd hit. They opened up their first restaurant in the US on Palm Avenue in South San Diego in the late 80's early 90's. Soon after they opened another up in Chula Vista, CA which is about 10 minutes away from their first restaurant literally down the street from my house. Great to see how Tacos el gordo blew up.

First time to try Tacos EL Gordo in March right before the shutdown. I live in Texas and we know tacos, I thought they were pretty solid. And your friends reactions, dancing while chewing is too funny! Tacos are life!!

Tacos el Gordo as legit as they come. The only original taco that came from Mexico.... Tijuana to be exact.

I'm originally from San Diego, CA and we have a lot of great Mexican food especially taco shops. Vegas definitely disappoints in Mexican cuisine so I'm definitely gonna try these spots.

I like the variety of locales you discuss and having been to all, I’d say they’re pretty accurate descriptions. I’m surprised you didn’t include Tacos México, with two locations. Very unassuming, open 24/7 and I’d say their tacos would compete with many of your other inclusions. Don’t forget to include them if you do a follow up

7 months after you made this video. I have ate at Tacos El Gordo for the first time. It is crazy busy even with Covid today. I did not understand why there were so many different lines until I realized that each was a different meat. I am a believer, El Gordo is the best Tacos I have ever had. Very little music and very few performers (Freaks) on Freemont this week. I have really enjoyed being back in Vegas this week. I just wanted to drop you a line and thank you for recommending El Gordo. It will also be nice to get away from the noise of the Nugget and sleep in my own bed tonight. Thanks girls! I'm from southern California and born in Baja and we have tons of delicious taco shops, but here in Vegas it's a struggle, I'm also picky about my tacos so I usually make them at home. My fav place is Taco y taco on Eastern location. Tacos el gordo is way over rated! So dry and salty! I'm gonna try that first spot you posted 😍 thanks!
RIIIIIIGHT!!! We may sound like we are arrogant coming from SoCal ... I'm from San Diego, CA and I am shockingly surprised how horrible Mexican food is here in Vegas. You'd get shut down in SD if you put rice n beans n no guacamole in your burritos.

@@darcandelaria oh man the guac is horrible out here. I wonder sometimes if they use real avocados. In SoCal you will not be in business for long if you put rice n beans in your burritos... I mean where did it all go wrong here in Vegas. Sometimes I think of opening up my own spot.

I just tried Taco Man the other day on S Eastern in Henderson and the guacamole was like water, and yes I don't get what's up with rice and beans in burritos, seriously 😞 you should open a spot and you'd be making $ cuz it's much needed here
