Well, if Black Hole is meant to be inspired by Nazi Germany, then I headcanon the reason why Sturm became a villain is because he was rejected at the musical academy and became petty enough to turn into world domination.
When you're a dictator who can summon meteors at will, you can get away with this kind of whimsy.

I never played Advance Wars, but I can say one thing : Never before have I seen someone so ethusiastic to jam and play the trumpet. And it truly made my day.
The Reboot of first two games are coming to Switch soon

This is actually the sequel. For Skullgirls 2: Encore Director's Cut Remastered. It's in his story mode.
Big Band actually has a Sturm skin in the game, look it up
Spoiler: Big Band wished by accident " If he was in charge he wouldn't have to deal with this shit and just play in his band."
Robo Fortune: wished " that she had a better robo-creator that could at least understand her superior robotic grasp of comedic timing. AND THAT THIS DICK WENT AWAY!"
The skull heart did care as long as humans suffered. So it, made big band into a dictator and changed his name to strum

Nah, this is the *prequel*.
After Advance Wars 2, Sturm decided to quit his conquerer job and decided to start a band with all his friends (nobody) instead, leaving some decrepit old guy on life support in charge of his army.
(For those unfamiliar with Advance Wars, the change from Sturm in Advance Wars 2 to Von Bolt in Advance Wars: Dual Strike is never explained.)
Lash inventing a robot to replace herself... the Organ-o-matic being mini cannons... Robo Andy vibing and AW1 Sturm coming in to play on his mask horn (You can't tell me it isn't a horn in this scenario) and then Flak's DK64 "OKAY!" at the end just like the Bane shitpost on Mangs' channel right at the end. This is perfect!

Lash already had a robot Version of here
Lash taunts Nell in AW2 and then asks Sami to bring Lash to her ALIVE and she replaces herself with the robot to escape

Big Band Sturm is not something I knew I needed but its pretty great and having Lash and Hawke dip out since they left Black Hole was a nice touch.
I miss advance wars... Brilliant animation ! Reminded me this series even existed
If you didn't hear, they're doing a remake for Switch called Advanced Wars: Reboot Camp. They're using more cartoony 3d versions of the maps, units and portraits which some people dont like, but it might be worth a look if your interested.

only sucks if you were a Dual Strike fan, as there are no news regarding that one yet.
or Days of Ruin, but lets be honest, that hardly counts as an Advance Wars game and is more of its own, seperate thing.

@@MrxD-cg5xs Well, Days of Ruin still falls under the "Wars" banner. As Advance Wars is...I believe the 6th installment in the whole series. As "Wars" series dates back to 1988 with the first title called "Famicom Wars". The last "Wars" title that was not a Re-Boot or a Remaster version was Battalion Wars on the Game Cube in 2005-2006. It was supposed to have a sequel title but it was canned before it even could be worked on.
Fairness, Advance Wars series of games is by far one of the better series to come from the "War" titles.

this whole video was great from start to end but the use of the Red Alert 1 mine sound at the end was what made me truly adore it, glad someone else appreciates that sound

Also, apparently Sturm can actually hard-counter Caulder, because Caulder uses his funds to repair his units and the most powerful ones are mostly going to be near or next to him in his CO Zone.
There's one problem though:
If the game start off pretty standard, then Caulder have a powerful early game advantage since he could load himself into Recon to disturb Sturm's capture game and push to his base as quickly as possible
Caulder dominates Sturm. Even with Meteor Strike, Caulder just heals it like it's nothing. It cost money, but them 50/50 Stat juggernaut is unstoppable.
But if you can’t clean it up the Caulder would just heal it all up. They could just surround their blob in infantry and advance that way
@@ChillstoneBlakeBlast Sturm could just abuse how caulder can only effect a small area while he effects the entire map. He would win the earlygame captures due to movement buffs.

Sturm completly ignores terrain when moving units, and can move ANYTHING onto mountains.
this kind of remixes are everywhere, not saying this one is bad or anything but damn, the animation is a very welcome plus
