At the end of the Grand Line.
FYI you don’t even have to be a mole for SysDef if you don’t want to. When you initially meet them just act like you are going to work with them up until you are directly face to face with their commander on the second floor. After that if you select the attack option you can easily run towards the elevator go back to the first floor and then make a run for your ship. After that just grav jump away and then the mission will update telling you to seek out the crimson fleet on your own. Everything basically proceeds as it normally does with going to Mars and stuff from there only you will not have to deal with SysDef and can just be a pirate no strings attached.
Also ensure that after you successfully escape from SysDef and grav jump away do not go directly to the key like I did. That was a mistake. You still have to go to Mars first and complete the initial missions to join up otherwise the fleet will still be hostile.
@@johncoakley6644I tried fighting my way back out. It was a blood bath. I just ended up loading my save and doing the SysDef mission. 😅

I recall when I was in my teens early 20s gaming was literally considered for children only so if you enjoyed gaming you wouldn’t talk about it lol. I love how the world has changed and adults now love gaming and it’s not frowned upon.

Anyone who want to farm ship parts or just blast unlimited ships for fun can go to Serpentis system, there every time you reach to a planet or moon, 2 ships will always spawn to attack you. Keep traveling to other planets or moons on the system to have them spawn endlessly.

One of the issues I was having was trying to justify my character being a spy instead of a full blown pirate. Thanks for the double agent for the Fleet angle.

If you deny the sysdef and take the prison time you can join them without the mole angle

@@brain_bank48 Just take the prison sentence and someone will approach you about joining in cydonia.
Holding secondary fire on the cutter a few seconds before shooting reduces mining time.
I completed the UC Vanguard questline before doing the Crimson Fleet, so I just got orders report to the UC Vigilance.
Gamespot and IGN are really enjoying this game huh?

Being the king of space pirates means half the enemies in the game won't attack you anymore
You don't need to commit a crime to join the fleet. Or get arrested. You just join the vanguard and do the first mission. You get a quest to join the crimson fleet. This also gets you a free ship that's perfect for pirating that the vanguard gives you. Also starts a large quest chain that's pays out 250k at the end of it which boosts the crimson fleets power if you chose to support then at the end. But you can also go through the commit a crime way to start the chain, but you will miss out on a strong free ship thr vanguard gives you.

Yeah, did I miss something? I got the Crimson Fleet mission after completing the Vanguard one and got no ship.

This game definitely needs a VATS type system or something. The gunplay just isn't good enough on its own.
Thats the only thing i dislike in the game... Guess im gonna have to wait for mods on Xbox 😂

Whilst I don't think it needs a VATS system, it definitely needs some deadzone settings for controller; combat feels so stiff at times, especially in close quarters.

just don't have constellation members on your ship or following you. hire people from bars around the settled systems, including the bar in The Key. If they don't see you murdering people, they don't get angry at you
