    I’ll wear my hair however I want, just like black women wear blond wigs however they want. This conversation is for people who’s lives are so easy (soft people) they have nothing better to do than stir up a pot of BS.

      Black woman can have natural straight hair

    • @coolgamingd18

      The difference between caucasian people loxxing up their hair and Black woman wearing wigs/straightening their hair is that the natural hair texture and style of black individuals were seen as messy, ugly and not meeting the white beauty standards, which lead to a lot of black women wearing weaves, wigs, and relaxing their hair.
      I personally couldn’t care less about white people with locs however I hate when people bring up the argument of comparing white people to having locs, with black women straightening their hair. They’re two extremely different things.

    Other earliest known possible depictions of dreadlocks date back as far as 1600-1500 BCE in the Minoan Civilization, centred in Crete (now part of Greece). Frescoes discovered on the Aegean island of Thera (modern Santorini, Greece) depict individuals with long braided hair or long dreadlocks.

    the unacknowledged or inappropriate adoption of the customs, practices, ideas, etc. of one people or society by members of another and typically more dominant people or society.
    "his dreadlocks were widely criticized as another example of cultural appropriation"
    That was the definition of cultural appropriation. I myself think cultural appropriation is a ridiculous idea .

    WHY?!?

    • @mikesickle4021
      @mikesickle4021 Před 9 měsíci +3

      Well first off with black people straighting their hair was mainly due to racism and secondly not all black people have afro texture hair. The hair color is irrelevant because everyone dyes their hair

    • @zidaneffixexe

      I'm tired of people claiming a natural hair function as A part of their culture. Hair does this on its own when left alone. When any race of person leaves their hair Alone for an extended of time it will start to do this. If you've ever been around white homeless people or seen the videos of them have to cut their dreads, they didn't appropriate anything. Their hair just gets like that. People say cultural appropriation but all I hear is hey that stereotype is ours.
