I remember watching this live on Catalan public TV. Simply superb! Brings back memories.

This was originaly broadcast 14th april 1985 as far as I could find. Thank you for the upload, really nice recording. The vhs artifacts in the sound from time to time seems part of the performance. Perfecto.

The trumpet player was a member of Olive, who wrote You Are Not Alone.

And Simply Red . His solos on " Holding back the years " and " Maybe someday " are amazing.

"Room Called Heaven", I don't think the sound engineer understood how to turn up the mic...still, it worked in a shoegaze kind of way. "The Beggar" was played the best live on the Dry album, once you listen to that, you are in Durutti Column nirvana.
