New flag and new construction at the White House today. Let me show you what I see.

- Busy day as many of you wrote to me asking about the new flag at the White House today so I drove over to take a look and it appears the POW/MIA flag that was back on the tennis court flagpole has now been moved to the main flagpole at the White House. A few of you also asked about what looked like new trees on the front lawn that you saw on the White House webcam, so we took a look at them as well. When we went around to the South Lawn, we noticed some new construction going on there that seems a bit out of place. We decide to investigate that and got some footage of a new fence/work area on the South Lawn, which appears to be in the landing zone for Marine One. I then discovered what will likely be a new temporary landing zone for Marine One on the Ellipse, which should help me in the future get some better quality photos. Finally, I tracked down the White House Press Conference that talks about the new construction, but they didn't really say much.

UPDATE: "A White House official got back to me about my question yesterday during the daily briefing on the construction on the White House South Lawn. The project, the official said, is intended to update the WH communications and power system. So it has relevance to the press corps. The WH official said the system hasn't been updated for decades & the project to renew it had actually started in 2020 during the Trump administration. The project is being done in coordination w/ USSS, the Park Service & the White House Communications Agency, the official said. The renewal project, the WH official said, is about to enter a new phase with work on the northern end of the South Lawn, which will take about 10 weeks. At the end of 10 weeks, Marine One will once again be able to lift off the South Lawn, the official said. Summer 2022 is the expected date for completion of the renewal project in its entirety, the WH official said. Results of investigations showed documented conversations, they tracked down the planning that took place over social media, all the way down to taking buses that would escort them right to the Capitol. Witnesses at the scene gave descriptions of numbers of people dressed in dark clothes getting off of buses, putting on maga gear, hats, flags. The organized group of antifa members were there to instigate the crowds, to lead the breach into the Capitol, busting windows out with iron pipes. Videos were shared of attempted busting window at the door by big guy dressed in black being told to stop and finally taken down by others in crowd. Videos of visitors on steps trying to get attention of police, screaming "antifa" and pointing to group breaking side windows, telling them to stop. Too many videos taken of who and how protests started were shared. Seems Pelosi is the only one still trying to press charges, guess she didn't get the memo that citizens are on to the pre-planned "insurrection" that flopped.

Did you see last month when the covid bill relief was signed? Supposedly there was a live coverage in the Rose Garden with Biden, Pelosi and Schumer.
