- You’ve been asking for hours “Was Joe Biden Rushed to the Hospital today?” Well I hadn’t heard or seen anything about that today at all from my trips to the White House and watching the news, but in keeping with this channel’s basic concept of “show not tell” (and because I hadn’t to go out and get some dinner) I decided to run by all the DC area hospitals and let you see what I see outside so you can make your own decisions. Of course, I couldn't go inside these hospitals, which are busy dealing with their patients and all the other demands of a major city, but I could give you a good look at what is going on outside. As you've probably noticed from motorcades and helicopter flights when there is a Presidential movement in D.C. it takes a big security effort. If the President was in any of these hospitals, we'd be sure to see something outside.
The DC area has many hospitals, but I ran you past the three closest to the White House (Georgetown, George Washington, and Howard University hospitals) and then the major trauma center for D.C. called Washington Hospital Center. We then finish off by going up into Maryland to drive past Walter Reed Hospital where President Trump was taken last Fall.
Basically, we don't see much of anything at any of these hospitals. Nothing really outside the norm, in fact, by D.C. standards it seemed a bit quiet.
But hey--"show not tell". Take a look and make up your own mind.
