    Why a SR20? You could have just easily boosted the VQ.

      melvin khosa because why not? I mean sure, less potential, but it is very much different and is still pretty awesome. Better than following the typical worn out path of the VQ or LS.

    Drop 2 cylinders? Because race car . Get rid of one one unreliable engine for an even more unreliable engine I’m confused

      4 cyl is easier to work on, less parts = less expensive, smaller engine = less weight. Besides a lot japanese race cars uses Inline 4 over bigger engines.
