for me my most nostalgic card is the first card i really loved and that was Celtic Guardian !

Blue Eyes always hits deeply for me. I had two copies of it as a kid, amongst a vast collection of cards left behind when my family and I moved. Unfortunately my mom never went back and got them from our storage unit. So many cards, especially BEWD, special to me. I remember always getting packs, booster boxes, tins, starter decks, etc. every time we went to Walmart or other stores carrying Yu-Gi-Oh! Products.😭
Most nostalgic card has got to be Flame Swordsman. It was the first ever foil I pulled as a kid and it lived through so many slaps on the playground concrete.
I literally pulled it in the first box i opened a week ago, it was the only foil in the box 😅
Blue eyes always hits the nostalgia. As well as exodia felt like a gangster drawing all 5 pieces in a duel back in the day
Drawing all 5 pieces if I’m correct is 1 in 250,000 give or take. Best way to draw him is pot of greed , cards to shuffle the deck and bring cards back from the graveyard. Best way I figured to slim down those odds to bring exodia into your hand
This may be an uncommon choice, but Celtic Guardian is the most nostalgic for me. It was the very first foil / SR card I ever pulled in this game, and while it's not the most useful card in a duel, I still loved it so much as a kid. I would pretend it's my "deck master" similar to how they incorporated it in the anime. I still have the card and treasure it to this day, like an old friend. Man, can't believe it's been a quarter century of all this. Nice, fun opening again, Simply :) And thank you for the trip through the memory rabbit holes.

Red Eyes is definitely the most nostalgic card for me. One of my first cards as a kid and damn I love that original artwork.

Always felt weird as a kid not caring that much for blue eyes but being completely entranced by red eyes' artwork. His design just looked so much better especially as a foil. Wish I still had the one from Joey's starter deck 😢. Got duped out of a lot of good cards through trades with kids at school

Cause I carried my cards around everywhere and had absolutely no knowledge when it came to prices and whatnot so my trades were bad too lol. Granted I was around 5 years old during peak Yugioh fever so it would make sense if you were older haha
4:20 Blue Eyes White Dragon pulled from LOB set. Not many people have done that but I remember pulling one back in the day from this same set. Good times and IMO one of the most badass Blue Eyes card arts of all time.
The only good cards I pulled from LOB was a ultra rare Gaia the Fierce Knight. I did get a Thousand Dragon so that was neat.

Flame Swordsman was one of the first cards I ever got and I was 4 years old, I believe. Since that day, I've been a massive fan of swords and have a goal to collect Full-Tang versions of all of my favorite anime swords.

Red eyes black dragon was my first ultra rare pull from the original release. The nostalgia of this set is through the roof.
honestly the card that is most nostalgic for me from LOB is Blue eyes white dragon, I remeber watch the show when i was younger and seeing Blues eyes for the first time and going, "I want that card". I wasn't around for when LOB first released, but I will always chase the oppertunity to hold a ultimate rare blue eyes white dragon from back in the day.
I always get nostalgia from Monster Reborn in this set. I'm always reminded of how I almost always tried to fit the card into my Decks during formats when it was legal.
For me, it was always dark magician. He was my first big pull out of lob when I was younger. And still to this day magicians are my favorite archetype 😊
Most nostalgic card for me is the Dark Magician. I remember first seeing that card art when I was much younger and being taken aback from how different it looked like from the show. Now, it’s one of my favorite card arts ever!

Blue Eyes definitely is very nostalgic, but pulling exodias head was always one of my most cherished moments.
Head of Exodia is the most nostalgic for me. Moved to a new town and didn't have any friends in elementary school but everyone played Yu-Gi-Oh and before I had only watched the show. Parents took me to the LCS to get a couple packs and opened it up then and there and pulled my own. I remember the card shop owner asking to buy it off me on the spot but my dad reminded me why we were there. Was fun being getting to use the card to meet new friends and go from new kid to center of attention at recess.
Most nostalgic has to be Celtic Guardian for me. Loved him in the anime and having him be one of my few foils next to a bunch of commons in my deck made him feel extra special

When I was in 7th grade someone traded me a deck box full of cards mostly with cards from this set, he traded it for 5 dollars and a mechanical pencil that I had. The thing that I was more shocked to see it was that it had 3 blue eyes on the deck from this set! I still have the whole deck every time I open it and look through it, reminds me of my elementary days dueling at lunch time.
LOB blue eyes white dragon man... I was 6 years old when i got a tin, i think, for Christmas or a bday..cant remember. I just wanted a freakin blue eyes as a kid.. my parents weren't into the whole cards and stuff, so getting yugioh cards was nearly impossible as a kid.. they were so upset that i didn't pull a blue eyes out of the tin they never bought me another pack of cards from what i remember..fast forward to the good ol allowance days and i was FINALLY able to buy my first blue eyes which was from one of the starter decks..and i played the CRUD out of that card. FACT: To this day i have never even seen a LOB blue eyes with my own eyes *in person*. Im SO stoked for this release you have NO IDEA.. especially as an adult who appreciates collecting now more than playing haha.. Love the videos! Cheers friend!! ❤️🇨🇦❤️
For me its Swords of Reveiling Light. My Grandpa and Grandmother took me to our Toys R Us here in Germany. I bought i think a few packs of LOB and pulled Swords of Reveiling Light from one of the Packs. It was my first ever Foil from a Pack. I still have this Card in my Old School Deck in my old nursery by my Parents. So many beautiful memories i miss you Grandpa Alfred❤
This is my favorite era of Yugioh and now I'm able to purchase these packs for myself and experience this feeling firsthand and it's amazing
Gaia the Dragon Champion is easily my favorite card of all time. I originally came into yugioh by seeing my friends at school with the cards. I was in the 4th grade at the time. We collected pokemon of course but something about the yugioh cards just spoke to me. The dark edginess of it was cool I guess. I started by watching the anime at home after school and watched the episode where yugioh summoned Gaia the Dragon Champion. Later that week we had the opportunity to go to Walmart and of course I grabbed a few pack as well as my two brothers. We had three packs each. When we got home first thing we did was open the packs and OMG I can still smell those cards to this day. In those three packs I some how pulled Gaia the Dragon Champion. I was so ecstatic that I pulled the badass monster I had just watched in the anime, but I had no idea how truly lucky I was. I collected as many of the original cards I could growing up and had quite the collection. Of course, they were all well played and I never would have sold them anyways but the value in my heart for those cards was infinite. After a couple of moves and a remodel one of the first things I looked for was my special collection of yugioh cards I had set aside in a special case that was inside a briefcase (I was 17 at this time). Somehow they were lost in the moves and I was devastated and still am to this day at the ripe age of 30. You bet your ass when I saw your video opening the 25th anniversary boxes I went out and bought some. Thank you for the content and god speed.
Blue Eyes will always be my favourite Yugioh card. I remember seeing it in the Starter Deck Kaiba and I instantly loved it. I know the LOB one is a different design but I still love it

Man both the blue eyes and dark magician. Me and my friend both had a decks and he had blue eyes and me dark magician. I can’t count how many times we went back and forth. Brings back so many memories.
The most nostalgic card for me out of LOB (other than Dark Magician) is Gaia the Dragon Champion. I pulled him from a reprint LOB pack in 2012 and was completely ecstatic. I miss that guy.
Watching this just brought back all types of memories from opening this booster box and the duels we used to have around here neighbor with the duelist kingdom field advantage using the field spells at each friend’s house.
The card that’s most nostalgic for me was definitely Dark Magician and Trial of Hell. My brothers and I had binders full of the original 6 yugioh sets and I remember looking at those cards and thinking how eerie and creepy they looked but also so exciting

Most nostalgic for me is definitely Celtic Guardian. It was my favourite card as a kid and it made me so happy when I pulled it. Loved it in SDY as a common and was stoked to see the holographic version of the card from LOB.
I purchased an LOB version of Celtic Guardian in good condition from someone on the Mercari app a few years back. She was selling it with a few others, and she was surprised when I asked how much for just Celtic Guardian. She sold it for $4 even though I was willing to buy it for $5. I felt she deserved the $5 because of how she maintained the card in great condition for who knows how long.

I loved Pot of Greed, especially with Exodia. Before Needle Worm or any hand destruction effects, it was all about trying to cycle the deck to find that full Exodia set.
Dark magician for me for sure, I got into Yugioh in the 2nd grade and it’s extremely nostalgic for me that was during the 5ds era but the DARK MAGICIAN was the first card I fell in love with
It’s tough to pick just one card out of this set that I can claim to be most nostalgic. This is where I primarily started my whole Yu-Gi-Oh! experience. But, having to choose just one, I’d have to go with Monster Reborn. I remember being a kid, going to school on the school bus, and this one other kid along with his brother had printed out mini versions of the LOB set. The art fascinated me but the one that initially stood out was Monster Reborn. Didn’t take long for me to after beg my mom to go to the store just to be able to buy some cards, back when almost every store in my small town would carry at least a booster or two, and the collection quickly grew to the size that it is today. Loving what they are doing for the 25th anniversary, but I do wish the cards had more of a classic look to them. Nonetheless, an affordable nostalgia trip!!
Firegrass is actually the most nostalgic card for me. A copy of a counterfeit firegrass was the single card from lob that I owned back then lmao. Didnt start having yugioh cards until magic ruler's release.

Aqua Mador out of LOB has always been nostalgic to me. I had just started drawing and my that along with Summoned Skull were my favorite to draw.

My 1st Edition Tri-Horned Dragon is the most nostalgic card from LOB for me, pulled that card from a single pack that I bought from Target. Still have it to this day.
It's hard not to choose every card in this set to be most nostalgic! Uraby, Pot of Greed, Hitotsu-Me Giant and of course all of the holos were just a few of the cards I remember my older brother owning when I was too young to understand what Yu-Gi-Oh! was. A lot of those cards were fake but the artwork stayed in my memory bank for years. Now I've been invested in the card game since my junior year of high school in 2015. You were the first guy I watched that got me interested in card openings and wanting to own an LOB box! I'm hoping to get one when the reprints drop in July but fingers crossed. OH BABY!
Still amazing seeing the evolution of SU over the years to the store and still keeping the content entertaining with that explosive energy. Here’s to many more years of GODLY content, and favorite card for Lob that exodia set I chased in elementary school but could never get my hands on.

Pretty much all the common cards have such nostalgia for me. Had bad luck pulling foils back in the day, but I had such love for all the cards from the early sets.
Same, never pulled a foil tbh in all the years I bought packs as a child. Was only able to afford 1 pack a month if that back then. Gonna buy these boxes as an adult now though and fulfil my dream of pulling one of the foils lmao

Beaver warrior is favorite card from LOB. Back in elementary school we would have tournaments after class and beaver warrior was the first card I ever won from someone. These packs bring back so many memories. Love the videos! Hope to visit the card shop one day
M Warrior #2 is the most nostalgic for me from this pack. When Yugioh first hit the US I managed to get one pack before it was out of stock and one of the first cards I saw was M Warrior #2.
Weirdly, Trihorn Dragon may be my favorite excluding Blue Eyes of course. I remember pulling Trihorn 2002 when I was 6 😂. I was so mesmerized by the secret rare foiling. I had never seen anything like it. And from then on secret rare was my favorite rarity. Another card that gave me that same feeling was Serpent Night Dragon, which I have more than a few copies of. However, cool side note, I opened a few 25th blue eyes packs I got with my LC display and got a Blue Eyes! It was incredible. Also pulled an exodia necros too. Overall I’ve been having a good yugioh experience lately. Glad to see you’re still making banger videos Simply! Been a viewer for quite a few years haha

I think my most nostalgic card from LOB is Monster Reborn. I pulled it early on when I first started back when MRL first came out and I used it all the time (obviously lol). Great video!

Red eyes black dragon is most nostalgic for me. I remember pulling it for the first time as I kid and I loved it. It instantly became my favorite and most treasured, and I just pulled one from my 25th anniversary box from my legend of blue eyes pack.
Probably for most of people's taste this will be weird, but two lob cards that left nostalgic mark on me were man-eater bug and reaper of the cards.. I always liked character of Bakura from anime and watching that episode where him and yugi duels on tree stump definitely left had an effect!
Uraby holds a place in my heart, as it was one of the cards in a zombie deck my brother gave me, but I can't lie and say I'm not nostalgic for the Giant Soldier of Stone.

For me, the most nostalgic card from LOB was always dark magician. One of the first cards I ever had, and I ended up having a ton of varieties of him until I eventually lost my cards in a move as a kid. Miss having the collection, would be stoked to win the booster box!!

For me the most iconic card in this set has to be swords of reveling light I remember getting some packs from the sports authority my aunt worked at and that was the first foil card I ever pulled outside of starter decks and such it’s been such a trip looking at all these old cards with you again and I can’t wait to get my hands on some of my most wanted cards from my childhood now that I can pay for my own cardboard

Most nostalgic LOB card for me has to be Reaper of the Cards. The anime certainly played a large role in that, but I also found it so neat that its ATT and DEF numbers were so unique compared to the other cards!

Dark Magician has got to be the most nostalgic in this set, I never could pull him but I wanted him so bad because I thought the artwork was so sick compared to the go one from the Yugi starter deck. Seeing it here just reminds me how gorgeous of a card it is 😍

Flame Swordsman was the first rare i pulled from these packs and man did i hold onto that for so long! It finally met it's end in my pocket through the wash 😢 along with a bunch of other rare cards i forgot were in my school shorts 😂

My favorite is the exodia pieces. The reason is that I once played in a tournament way back in the day and at the beginning of the duel, the first 5 cards I drew where the 5 pieces of exodia itself. That was one epic time. Everyone in the tournament was in shock. Best memory of yugioh no doubt.

Opend up the 25th anniversary packs today with my nephew today and it felt super nostalgic. Got the dark magician quarter century and two obelisk quarter century.

My first LOB pack was from the Legendary Collection Binder. I got foil raigeki, and it was banned at the time! When it got off the ban list I couldn't put it in my deck any faster

All the LOB cards bring back memories of my childhood. The fusion monsters were back then my favourite cards besides Blue-eyes and Exodia, it is so because I used to play forbidden memories in my PlayStation 1 and those fusion monsters were the easiest way to get a powerful monster with a couple combinations, and go through the characters reducing their life point to 0 and sending them to the shadow realm 😎
The Blue-Eyes White Dragon when I was a kid watching Yu-Gi-Oh Kaiba was my favorite character so I need to get that blue eyes, I ordered a set of lob but got dark crisis so hopefully I can get that sorted out
The Hinotama spell card is one of the most nostalgic cards for me in this set 😂 yes the card is not worth much but just losing 500LP back in the early days was so devastating since we only had 4000LP I used to run three of those.
