    Simplicity Pattern 8800
    8 yards of mesh
    14 yards of fur boa/trim
    1/4 yard of satin or ribbon for belt (optional)
    Fabric tac glue

    I get that the formula is the same but What are we actually measuring to get the radius for the bottom train? The waist? Hip?

      Anndrea Cooper the width of the bottom of the robe where you would normally hem it. Hope that makes sense!

    For the train did you high low it like you did the sleeves? And as far as the pattern did you use D or E?

      bougie gang yep! And for the bodice I used D length but for sleeves I used E.

    How did you get the radius

      Iyodo Folashade Ester measure around your arm then divide that number by 2 and divide it again by 3.14. Same thing for bottom part just measure the length.

    I have been looking for a pattern to follow for this kind of robe for soooo long!!! Did you follow the pattern exactly or did you have to adjust it for this specific type of robe

      Blinks Bill nope I followed everything exactly! Just added the flare sleeves and train which are both just circle skirts.

      Blinks Bill JoAnn’s have this type of fabric but it’s kind of seasonal so you might have to wait until summer. I got mines from a wholesale fabric store near me but everything is closed now because of the virus.

      JONYAÉ so I just ordered this pattern from Etsy. I have been looking for this kind of fabric everywhere and thank you for telling me that it’s seasonal. I will slowly get the process ready, and I’ve already Waited a long time to make this, I literally just took a sewing class in community college that was closed because of the corona virus. So this project is what inspired me to learn to sew, and it has taken me forever, I bought feathers for it, and just bought the pattern thanks to you. I had this type of robe in mind months ago, and this is the first diy on it I’ve found
