At 15 I was raped and became pregnant. In the blink of an eye my life changed forever... My family, my friends, and even the doctor tried to pressure me into an abortion. I know their intentions were well meaning, they just wanted the whole ordeal to be over with for me.... At 15 years old I realized two things... 1) having an abortion would not change the fact that I was raped, nor would it change the fact that this child existed...2) I was in no way prepared to raise a child or be a mother... I refused to abort the baby. This decesion costed me my home, my family, and even the majority of my friends... My family could not handle the stress, my parents filed for divorce, and I became homeless because neither of my parents wanted to handle the situation... Don't get me wrong, I love my parents, they were good parents, they just didn't understand how to handle the whole situation. NOBODY out there knows how they will react until they find themselves in the situation. I was terrified, and I was alone. I found an unwed mothers home in my town, and they took me in, they fed me, they provided me with shelter, they provided me with counseling. They took me to and from doctor appointments, and helpped ensure that I continued school through a home school program they offered. They helpped my mom and I reunite, and provided us with family counseling, so that we could work together through the situation. It would be years before my dad and I would reunite, but eventually we did before he passed. I made a choice to place the child for adoption. They helpped me find the perfect parents, which I was able to meet with and get to know during my pregnancy. They were there with me when the boy was born, and they were there by my side when he was taken from me for the last time. Nobody can ever prepare you for just how painful and emotional it is to place your child for adoption, but the loving people in this organization were by my side the whole time, and a very strong support system for me following the birth. I was able to turn my nightmare into someone else's dream come true. It was the most loving and selfless thing I have ever done in my life. I carried him in my womb, but he was not for me...He was a gift for another mother, who had spent years praying for him. He is now 28 years old. I pray daily for him, and hope all has been well in his life. Over the years it has never set well with me how quick we are as a society to promote abortion, and view the other options availble as some sort of horrendous last resort. It has never set well with me how we have spent decades dehumanizing the child developing in the womb for the soul purpose of making abortion a more palatable choice. Rape is always one of the first arguments thrown out when it comes to defending abortion, even though less than 1% of abortions performed annually are because of rape. Everytime I have tried to speak about my experience I am shut down immediately and reminded that I had a choice, and then treated like my choice and my experience is irrelevant because it was contrary to abortion. But my experience does matter, what I experienced is relevant. I know first hand just how difficult it is to be in that situation. I know how difficult it truly is to make the choices I made. To anyone out there experiencing a crisis pregnancy please know there are options. There are thousands of organizations out there who can help you through your situation. You are not alone. I am thankful to hear about your decision to not abort, it's evident to me that the Lord Jesus Christ gave you the grace to avoid the option of abortion despite the opposition you encountered to do otherwise.
Why would your parents abandon you after you were victimized? This story doesn't make sense.
My Mom was born 2 months early, in the 1940s, in a tiny coal mining town in Wales. They told my Gran there was little chance she would survive. Her skin hadn’t formed properly yet. She was sticky to the touch. They told her to cover her in olive oil, swaddle her in a cotton blanket and to keep her on the fireplace hearth in a shoe box for warmth. Long story short, she thrived and turns 79 this December. Life is so very amazing.☺️💕
Doctors: “she won’t make it and if she does she will be disabled”
Your mom: “im gonna ruin this whole doctors career.”

I came from a pretty religious family. My brother got his girlfriend pregnant when she was 17. She was getting pressured to have an abortion from her parents. I was not nice. I was not loving. I thought my brother’s behavior was her fault. I wanted him to adopt the baby and never see her again. I told her that if she loved him she would leave him alone because she was ruining his life. 🤦🏼♀️
14 years later, they have been married for 13 years, have 5 amazing boys, are very happy together and, amazingly, they have forgiven my mistakes and we are friends. For anyone in any of these situations... it can work out amazingly. It might not look like it right now. It might be a struggle for a long time! But that little boy was such a healing little thing. They are wonderful parents! I am so grateful for my amazing sister in law who was so strong when those who should have wrapped their arms around her in help and love and support pushed her away (speaking of myself here.)

It definitely wasn’t easy for them! Marriage is not easy. They have fought hard for their relationship and for their family and have grown a lot.

I knew a fiesty 99 year old lady. She stated out life as a 1lb. baby who the Dr, thought wouldn't live. Her sisters were teenagers they all held her her diapers were her Dads handkerchiefs. She overcame and thrived. She grew into a 5ft 9 in adult. She even out lived both of her children and her daughters in law held her in high regard. Her Mom was over 55 when she was born. All life is precious.

I'll never forget my first ultrasound with my first pregnancy. My husband and I had every intention of keeping our baby (turned out to be babies) but when we got to the car my husband said, "how could anyone consider having an abortion after seeing that?"
Exactly. But places like Planned Parenthood won't show moms the u/s for that reason. They don't want women to know the truth. They want them to believe it's just a clump of cells.
I would say, when people don't experience real love within their family or friends they don't learn how to love.
It's because PP doesn't show them the ultrasound.
Many of the women considering an abortion, when shown the reality of this "procedure" change their minds. The thought is that they are being spared the harsh reality of raising "someone else's child" (or similar thought). The fact is that it is better to have the child than live with the alternative which is actually soul-destroying in many ways. I've known a few women who have had abortions, and it is devastating to many. It is ludicrous to assume that you are helping or aiding them through abortion - nothing is further from the truth.

I truly believe everything starts at conception throughout the pregnancy and at birth also I do believe that everything does start in the home.
Not 1 human person was born to hate or born with anger in their heart. Those are learned behaviors that are taught.
I also believe that everyone deserves to be treated with love, respect, honor and upmost dignity.
I think and raised 5 children with Jesus Christ as our Living Savior.
Also taught that we have freewill to choose our own individual paths and journey's in this life we each have.
However not 1 of us is free from the consequences of those freewill choices that were made. Sorry there's no way around that.

Bless Sam & his mom. In 1973 I was newly married and 4 months pregnant. Very sick and was told that my pregnancy was dangerous and both the baby & I could lose our lives. And if survived the baby would have all kinds problems. So to save my life an abortion was recommended. My husband was frightened to lose me. I told him it is God’s will that We became pregnant and that I will die for this child’s life .
I spent 7 months bed ridden & very sick a gave birth to a beautiful perfect baby girl a month early . The first few months were difficult,but so worth it . Now we have 3 beautiful granddaughters.

Most girls & women born from this couldn’t conceive or has complete hysterectomies at 15 years and older. At the time of my pregnancy I wasn’t diagnosed yet. It causes us to over produce estrogen which makes us cancer prone cervical & vaginal cancer. My entire pregnancy was like I had constant food poisoning and I started dilating by my fourth month so I had to stay bedridden.
My great-grandmother who died at 96 always talked about the back alley abortion she had had as a young woman. She was pressured into it by her husband and mother-in-law. It still affected her decades later.

My Ex-wife had an abortion and didn’t tell me till later. It not only killed an INNOCENT BABY, it killed my love that I had. My Ex. Never really got over it nor the help she needed. I personally know several women who have had an abortion and have never recovered mentally from it and some physically from it.
I know of several women who have had abortions. When they mentioned them they had guilt and sorrow in their voices. They had excuses but they knew those excuses were just covering up their fears and decades llater it still sits heavily on them....decades 😢

It's never our place to take the life of an unborn baby. All lives matter. Save the One.
What happens if the person who has the baby has it unplanned?? What if they are poor, young and are in no state to take care of their child. Would the child be sent to an orphanage?? There are millions of children in orphanages waiting to be adopted. But many never do. Children are sent to foster homes and are abused. You care so much about the life of an unborn baby, but what happens to it after its born????

It's never God's plan for children to be separated from their parents. It also takes faith to believe in God's provision.

Wow. Listening to this. I was born at 28 weeks in the early 70s. I have a Masters degree and have run a marathon. My daughter was born at 30 weeks. Taking AP classes in high school and wants to be a lawyer. Preemies are amazing. I would be fine if PP was only about exams and birth control.
They believe abortion IS birth control. Birth control that is not abortion just hormones is harmful also... It is full of chemicals and causes cancer. Birth control is designed for a promiscuous lifestyle.
@@BuenasNoticiasdeIL No, before I got married I had an irregular period. Some women who had heavy cramps take the pill to ease that (I'm sure Becket is cringing at this convo on his YT). I used the pill until we were ready to start a family and I'm 100% faithful to my husband.

@@jo6731 have you tried changing your diet? You see- medicial providers are terrible for health. They gave You hormones to regulate a period. These hormones are harmful and can give you cancer later in life. It says so on the package itself. Natural vitamins and exercise would have helped you better. But doctors are in it for the $$$$ and drug companies are hurting our women and children. So sad.

She is correct in how people need to come together, calling someone a murderer isn’t going to help. Believe me, I’d bet most women suffer rather they admit it or not. November 2019 - baby born at 21 weeks 1 day survived and is still alive today.
Ultra sound works because my niece came to me back in spring saying she was pregnant. She didn't know what to do cause she wasn't ready to have a baby. But she'd gone to dr and had an ultra sound in hand. She basically talked herself right out of that abortion and I knew when I saw she had ultra sound that she'd not abort the baby.
Her baby is due in Oct of this yr. Def works to save babies. Thank you for promoting them.
Support her anyway you can. My son was a freshman in college away from home and he made a girl pregnant. After my initial shock, rants, threats I calmed down. The young lady wanted abortion but I somehow convinced her not to. Although I was disabled with very little income we managed to help her and baby. I've been helping my son raise his daughter since she was 3/4 months old and now a sophomore in high school. When I was sick with covid last July & August my granddaughter brought me water, soup, and walked me to the bathroom. She wasn't afraid of catching C-19. Who would have thought.
@@soniag4516 that's so sweet and yes I am a huge support system for my niece. And like you my son got his high school sweetheart pregnant a few months after they graduated. They had a baby by age 19 yrs and my grandson is getting ready to turn 13 in few days already. I love him more than could ever imagine.
I will never forget a family story I first heard at age 12 (8 years before RVW) about the abortion my cousins cousin (wealthy and never worked) had died from due to a backroom abortionist. Then it was mentioned that it was this 25 year old party girls THIRD abortion. Immediately I said it sounds like this woman had real problems and needed church and psychiatric help. All the adults in my actual family suddenly pounced on me for being cruel and cold hearted. All I thought of was how precious those babies lives were ONLY to me.

We need to be praying for women who feel this is their only option as well as praying ceaselessly for churches who only offer temporary support to avoid abortion. Churches need to support these women and families throughout their pregnancy and well beyond until they are capable and have overcome the challenges that had them thinking abortion was their only option. Childcare, diapers/supplies, food, counseling, safety etc. The church needs to reach farther than just stopping abortion clinics. Be the foundation of strength for women and help them build and they will thrive.
Let's add the very-loving and unselfish option of adoption.
@Nicole Horn thank you! Since I posted this comment I have thought about what an amazing opportunity that would be to support women on this journey and help out after delivery. I may need to see what my local church is doing and see if they have a similar program I can be a part of. ❤ I am also going to look into Embrace Grace.

I was 17. I had been with my BoyF for 2 years. He wasn't obviously ready nor was I . I didn't have the ability to financially care for a baby. In now 49, have two grown sons, have been a nurse for over 20 years, I no longer practice.
i will tell you honestly that baby is never too far from my thoughts. It is something that will be with me forever, I always have the lingering question did I do the right thing? Its not a cut and dry medical choice everyone is making it out to be.

I have always been puzzled by how a woman losing her life from a backdoor abortion gained more significance than the baby that was literally disassembled limb by limb ?
Why is the mother's life worth more than the unborn?
The woman had a choice to use birthcontrol or give the baby up for adoption.
The unborn didn't ask to be conceived and is given no choice.
Short answer: selfishness
Every liberal cause was always predicated on the accepting to the rule and the inability to think past that. Anti death penalty but so pro abortion.
the pro-choice and planned parenthood movement deliberately put the focus on the woman's plight in order to skew the real issue. The real issue being another tiny human with its own individual fingerprint separate to its mother who can't speak up for itself and is totally defenceless. Mostly it's not the women who are evil as they have mostly been seduced by the mantra 'my body my choice'. The real evil is the extremely wealthy billionaire funded pro-choice and planned parenthood organisations.
Ultimate Bully Mentality is all I can figure, plus downright depravity as we aggressively pull away from our Creator. Boy, people are going to be in shock when they have to answer to Him!

The Catholic Church offers a beautiful retreat called "Project Rachel ", for women who have had abortions. It doesn't matter how old the woman is, it's for women of every age who have had an abortion. It is an incredibly healing retreat where you will encounter the Love , healing and Mercy of Jesus Christ.
The retreat is offered in most states. Look up PROJECT RACHEL, may your healing begin. Thank you for this truthful video.

Well, the ultrasound allows the woman to SEE the baby and humanize him/her.

The life is in the Blood, not the heartbeat. I heard a teacher say this once and I never forgot it.
The Bible says it also. Genesis 9:4-6, Leviticus 17:11, Deuteronomy 12:23, to name a few. Most importantly; the blood of Christ shed for the redemption of many, Matthew 26:28.

Friend of mine just gave birth to her daughter after 6 months her daughter's going to be in there for 3 months in the hospital hooked up the stuff but it's amazing to think this little child is alive she says she wouldn't never thought that life could be started at that age and it's made her a believer against abortions
The Life Magazine cover article depicting the fetus in utero was published in the mid 1970s. Abortionists have always had to reassemble the parts of the fetus to ensure there were no parts left behind. There has never been an excuse.

Why isn't adoption as alternative to abortion promoted in the US? The lack of promotion of adoption as a viable option is very telling.
Pro-abortion size likes to say "all the foster kids" without realizing that for brand new babies there's a waiting list.

I don’t know and I agree. It has been disheartening to hear so many women say that they would abort their baby, but to adopt the baby out is UNTHINKABLE - an unpardonable sin. We believers need to find a way to converse with women and change the culture in this area.

Point of viability is considered 24 weeks, but babies as young as 21 weeks have been saved and are doing great!
My grandson was born at 25 weeks and he is a normal 4 year old today.
She's right about every family being touched by abortion somehow. My paternal grandmother gave herself an abortion with a coat hanger. She went on to have three boys anyway, one of whom was my father. To this day he doesn't know about the abortion. It was something she only told my mother and me. Very very sad.

So I figure 100K a year from a clinic. Then I think of all the cities in the united States and my heart is breaking. So many unnecessary deaths. Much respect

Pregnancy care centers. Our community in California rallies around and gives generously. Our church has a room full of baby clothing, diapers, furniture, maternity clothes etc for anyone in need but especially for un-married moms no questioned asked. All items are washed, sanitized, cleaned, stored, labeled, so forth. Word is sent out via fliers, church announcements, PCC referrals, word of mouth.

What a wonderful doctor! She was economic with her words, and thus made her message very clear. It would have been nice though, to hear her talk a little more about what kind of work she is doing, if any, with regard to abortion-clinics, as she mentioned that they were "not very clean". (Filth,as we know, can make people sick). Thank you for sharing!

And to learn about her book and work and how she found the gospel and stop doing/performing abortions!!! Which makes me so happy!! I had an abortion in my 20s, years ago(now turning 74 in a couple days!!) in Florida! And I was really torn with that!!!!! I was semi raised in a church, so I had semi of a conscience!!!! Anyway, like this Patti who got into “new age stuff/things”, I also did, and was looking for the truth, for happiness, for “something”?! And she & I eventually found the gospel!! The more the physician talked, the more disturbed I became. Never once did I hear a word of apology for the abortions she performed. I wasn't looking for someone wailing and crying a fit, I was looking for remorse? Her words are clinical stating just the facts. I heard her intellect talking, but her heart...? I almost turned off the video at several points when she spoke. I hope she has been in counciling to help her deal with all the hundreds of deaths she caused. I will pray for her just as I ask for prays for me.

I think medical personnel learn to speak this way, with less emotion coming across. It doesn’t mean it’s not in her heart. On another note maybe she is on the spectrum. You’re making an awful lot of judgement on this interview based on your feelings not actual facts.
I thunk crying or telling others how much you regret what you did is not gonna change a thing. I love how she is doing things out of the gate to educate others on the issue because she now has experience on both sides. I am sure she regrets her choice of the past.

I just do not understand how you can see it and not know it's life. Arms, legs, fingers, toes, beating heart, and a brain, before you even know you're pregnant. She saw this but she didnt see life? I'll never understand. The smallest baby I've ever seen was 9 wks. It was so incredibly hard to watch this mother suffer through this miscarriage. You literally know its not clumps of cells. You know it is a baby at every single stage. It is literally a fact.
I think in most states in the US there are laws where medical doctors take an oath to do everything they can to sustain human life.
Abortion goes completely against a medical practitioner’s oath to do no harm.
It means nothing. Doctors are killing people with the jab and know it’s deadly. That path they take in medical school is all BS. Just words and no action.

Solid interview that I am glad you posted. Some feedback if you want it - the doctor had a lot to say that you did not let her unfold. You led the interview far too much and railroaded her into conclusions at times, putting words in her mouth or cutting her off when she had an interesting point developing. It would be much more genuine and thought-provoking if you would back off a bit and let your guests speak their minds. Nonetheless, thank you for your work.

I worked for adoption ministry . I do not condemn those who chose abortion. Adoption is another alternative.Every child that has ever been conceived can't help being conceived . The people who choose adoption , and those who adopt are precious . However adoption in tbe USA is not without expense,it's often less expensive to adopt out side the country .
I had read recently the birth rate is down. Why would this be ? None seem to have the answer.
