Professional level...If you watch any movie with a professionally-recorded soundtrack, they're playing music that's the same difficulty as this. One of my pet peeves is music in odd time signatures (not 4/4, 6/8, 2/4, or 3/4), so you can imagine how much of a nightmare this is for me........
What is this esoteric shit supposed to mean?? In my opinion marching bands are about the fun and should be playing understandable, recognizable music. Competitive marching band is just plain stupid, don't hate on me, okay, but it sucks all the fun out of something that wasn't indended to be that way originally.
NFVBand it’s more fun to actually play hard music and not stand tunes 🤷🏽♂️ it’s not the competitiveness of it. It just showing off good players and their abilities. Sorry if you don’t find an interest in it. It just means the real marching world isn’t for you.
Nostalgic. Did all 3 movements my senior year of high school in 2005 (whew I’m old). I had the sax solo in the second movement. 😮

I love how the third movement turns into a reprisal of the first. It's my favorite part.
The ballad is so lovely, I could imagine it finding its way to a movie soundtrack for sure, especially 4:10 - 4:38

Yea the first movement is 7/8 counted in 4/4 then 4/3, love this show!
