As a novice simmer I had several unsuccessful attempts to land the DA62 flying completely by hand until I came across your video. I carefully followed everything and managed to replicate your flight from Foley to Gulfport. (Being on XBox I had to put the flight plan in first via the World Map). I was amazed how accurately I was able to control the DA62’s speed using the throttle on the descent and was really pleased to make my first successful landing. It wasn’t perfect - after engaging the second stage of flaps and lowering the gear I lost a lot of speed, but was able to recover by increasing power just before touch down. Your autopilot techniques, like the one using the TOD marker, worked really well and I am going to use them now with other planes. Thanks very much indeed Mike.
After engine shutdown I cut the fuel and turn off all electrics even the master but the props are still spinning and can't get them to stop, any ideas? Thanks.
I installed the mod but in the aircraft selection page it just shows a DA62 it doesn't say mod or improvement or anything how would I know that the mod is installed
Very well done. I'm aware of all the G1000 things already. I can't seem to bind my levers on the Velocity One yoke to the 2 throttles. Maybe the recent update did this?
You should have called when you got to KGPT.
I do miss the Gulf Coast alot. I could go for some fresh gulf shrimp right now.
@@fatmike5038 Yeah buddy! And Oysters, yum!

Excellent video! Thanks for putting this on. I spent the last year flying around and world in the TBM 930. Now I'm going to do the US in the DA62.
Mike, thanks very much for another cracking video on this aircraft.
Awesome thank you, I had issues figuring out the FL change on AP. I was using VS instead, so I had issues managing speed. Thanks!
Well done Sir, exactly what I was looking for. Thank You.
Thank you
Love the paint job! Thanks for making the video!
Thanks for watching
This was a great video. Thank you so much especially for the decent part 👍🏼
Great video. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for this very useful video Sir.

When I hit electronic master the avionics don't turn on. Only the soft keys light up. I have to hit avionics master to get a picture. Any ideas?

Did you make sure you have auto mixture turned off.
@@fatmike5038 I thought it has engine one and two on the levers. ?
How did you maintain a speed of 100 knots while climbing?
climb angle, stay close to prograde
Is there a similar flight sim for Mac?
You should try XPLANE it might be MAC, I know it runs on Linnox
you reduced power very late...at 4500 ft
