By the looks of all these Ships videos and experience, it really does look like smaller ships have an advantage over larger ships. You can target your opponent faster, you move faster, you are smaller, big weapons don't do full damage to you, you do full damage to your opponent. I guess this applies until you look at RLMLs on cruisers but still, you are a middle size ship and you do full damage to everything and still target fast enough not to die before you have killed something.
What I find odd is that caldari is focused on kinetic damage althoug it should be explosive damage and minmatar should have kinetic instead since thats the main force a projectile deals as damage. The same counts for gallente, because a railgun is practically also just a rifle with a very fast bullet. But anyway, it is what it is.
17:24 jammed ships now lose all target locks EXCEPT for the jamming ship - but im sure youve already been corrected. :) And drones will continue to attack the ship if they were previously ordered to attack before target was lost. ECM drones confuse people though.
Rocket Kestrels are HALARIOUS. They are so cheap you can throw them away and do nuts dps. No one ever expect them to punch as hard as they do. Thanks for making this video, reminds me of all the great ships I've flown in eve.

I think it’s interesting how desperate circumstances forced the Caldari megacorporations to gradually evolve into something more like branches of government than what we’d recognize as businesses. I think it’s also important to realize that something EVE hit on the head well is that when the only consumers are employees of your allied corporations, you have no choice but to try to ensure all employees are prosperous otherwise you make less money due to less demand. Especially when said employees are very aware they are the ones who can screw you over if you push them too far.
I wanted to point out a particular error in the video. Tibus Heth was removed as the head of state of the Caldari five years ago after the Gallente Navy liberated Caldari Prime by destroying the Caldari Titan in orbit. The Caldari Providence Directorate was also dissolved and is now run by the Chief Executive Panel once again which consists of the CEOs of the eight megacorporations.

Shield resistance bonus makes active and passive shield tanking more efficiently, it doesn't force you into going full passive. Still, full passive in 9 out of 10 cases require shield extenders to increase the buffer which also comes with the huge downside of having a gigantic signature radius, which is always bad. Shield restore bonus absolutely favors active shield tanking (some minmatar ships) which makes sense, since projectile turrets don't need energy to function, leaving more energy for shield rechargers and since minmatar ships are generally the fastest you can outrun webs and neuts with an agile sniping fitting.

Your illustrated selection of Alpha ships didn't include the Navy Issue Frigate/Destroyers... they do not appear to be Omega locked. So those can by flown too, correct?
MrSteroband good ships, but not the focus hull for this video. As far as hulls go, the Moa hull and Scorpion hull aren't anywhere near a match in terms of cost and versatility. Rattlesnake is just too expensive for most newbros.

@@daninja6555 So, first thing to know is that any character can learn any other racial skills, and weapon skills. You're not hard-locked. It's more a question of what you start with. Racial selection is almost entirely an aesthetic or lore-related/RP choice. Otherwise all are functionally the same. For what you're looking for I'd recommend (in this order) Signal Cartel, Goonswarm, or Eve University, given your null-sec and exploration preference.

If anyone wants a decent brawler Alpha corm. I have a pretty good one it is a little bit on the expensive side though. I think it has like a hundred and twenty-five DPS depending on what ammunition you load in I personally use caldari Navy thorium
Yes and no. The Amarr are actually more akin to the Necromongers in the Riddick films than they are the Ori of Stargate SG-1. The Caldari are way, way, way more like if the USNC of the Halo games was taken over by the Yakuza.
The Amarr are more like the Star Wars First Order, or the Empire...if you want an Ori type race,try Drifters or Triglavians.The Caldari are a combination of the Ferengi and Romulans (Star Trek)
whit the country's i whould say the same and minmatar is more like Russia/China/Rebels. Galente is more like french. and Ammar is more like verenigd emirate/Dubay
