Good point, but I work for myself and time is money, I’d much prefer using the stops then I would compounding back and forth all day .. Thank you for the comment
Yes but like I said to another commenter, I’m in this to make a living, crown stops allow me to fly through the installs, so I’m not spending time flipping the compound back and forth .. I do appreciate your input Thank you
Yeah crown stops are nice. I wouldn't say they're a must, you can make reference marks on the saw. I need to tap some holes in my Hercules to accept Dewalt stops.
crown stops are more then helpful with just crown, they give you the confidence you need to fly through jobs with the greatest of ease… trust me, if you’re not using stops, you’re co$ting yourself time. Lots of it
@@michigancrownmolding @michigancrownmolding I always set up stops for any kind of box building or making frames. I've been getting away without the crown stops but I definitely need to make that modification to my new saw.
Man, the crown is kicking my butt.
The world is evil but at least the crown moulding looks sharp! 😂😂
Please explain why there such a time saver compared to just laying the crown flat.
i just did a job w/o stops. laid it flat and got all my angles

@@michigancrownmolding as a novice i’m not sure if i understand. perhaps make a video showing the efficiency of using the stops vs laying flat
There’s multiple ways to cut crown. You don’t have to have these. You can lay it flat. You can use a jig. Definitely not a must
