Agreed this is a fantastic bike . I live in Scotland and have had it for around three months now .Standing at six four and weighing 16st i was totally shocked by how easily it pulled me up steep hills with very little in the way of peddle assistance .I would say it is a bargain at the price ,and if anyone is thinking of buying one then don`t hesitate you will be happy that you did . PS Engwe also shows you how to unlock the bike if you should chose to do so .
Another great review. Thanks Tom.
Distance with these usually as noted isnt near the max stated due to weather, wind, temp etc..
well put review mate
gonna get an ebike later on but we have winter here that will sink battery time and distance a lot.
This is THE most complete, comprehensive review I've ever watched. You covered everything.
We bought 2 of these bikes a month or so ago & got each for $749. We've been riding ebikes for 8 yrs. Our previous bikes were 500W motors, so I see a big difference. We now live in a rural, hilly area & these bikes handle our hills ezpz.
Tom, thanks once again for all the time ( and sweat) you put into your reviews.
NW Missouri appreciates you. Stay safe & keep riding.
Thank you! It’s definitely a fun bike to cruise around on. $749 is a smoking deal for all that you get with the bike. Hopefully your weather is more riding friendly in Missouri haha! Enjoy the rides. I’m probably going to take the bike up north to Flagstaff this summer for some rides in the mountains where it’s a lot cooler.
Still deciding either Jasion eb7, eb7 st, full suspension. Let see the comparison. Tye good thing with jasion the battery is secured. Maybe it's matters a bit with Engwe, it's hydraulic brake, and the range. It's hard to decide if your budget below 1grand.
My Engwe L20 2.0 arrived missing the front fender. Bought directly from the Engwe home site. Their customer service has taken weeks of back and forth and now they tell me I should have made an unboxing video.
That’s really unfortunate. You can’t reasonably expect people to make unboxing videos. Are they going to send you the fender?
Hey. Great video by the way! Do you by any chance know why ENGWE took this bike off their website?
Thank you! Hmm, not sure. Where are you located? I’m still seeing it on the US site.
@@tomsgadgetgarage I'm located in Europe. I think it disappeared on the US website for a while but they added it back. Sadly, it won't be available here in Europe - I sent them an email and they told me that "L20 2.0 is a product targeted for US market, so it will not be available in the EU shop". Still a great bike, will have to search for some similar options then
Ugh that’s unfortunate. It really is a nice bike with an even nicer price tag. Thanks for the update on the Europe availability.
Thanks for the in depth review. I got mine for $699 a few weeks ago, no taxes and free shipping. I’ve been struggling with the front tire. I notice a side to side wobble when riding and the brakes were rubbing and no matter what I tried, I couldn’t get it properly adjusted. They sent me a new rotor but it didn’t fix it. I ended up buying a new brake on Amazon and it helped a little, but now I can’t get rid of the wobble. I even deflated and reseated the tire, but it didn’t fix it. It doesn’t affect the ride, but it’s more visually annoying if anything. But it is a fun bike to ride and has plenty of power. It walks up hills with ease compared to my Lectric XP 2.0. And even does better than my bigger and heavier Radrover 6. I guess I’ll learn to live with the little bit of wobble in the front tire and hope it doesn’t cause any issues.
