This is definitely a collector car, they are a ton of fun and will last forever. I have a 93 ls that I bought in 95, I put 250k on it until the motor finally blew up. It's been on jackstands in my garage since 09, and I have been collecting parts to completely update it mechanically (including a jdm straight neck klze with jdm ecu and air flow sensor). Parts are still available online, but nothing like they were available 10 years ago.
@@JT-fm4ye what year and configuration are you looking at? AT or MT? 4 or 6 cylinder? The 5 speed 6 klde is extremely fun to drive, even though it is only 163 hp the VRIS gives it a practically flat peak power band from around 3k to 7k rpm. Supposedly the klde loves dirt cheap eBay turbo setups, the bottom end is indestructible under 300 hp.
I owned 3 Probe GTs with that 2.5 V6 fun to drive and I personally think it's one of the best sounding engines. Good luck with your MX-6 build the shit out of it.

Hey man I'm about to get a mx6, based in Aus where am I best to find aftermarket parts ? Wanting to turbo it or super charge also

Have been told I can get rid of 4ws if I want to and just have normal 2ws
