This video will be not only deciding who’s currently stronger between Zoro & Sanji but along with who was stronger over the course of the series. This is probably the most toxic debate in all of one piece and so you guys already know I had to intervene. However i'm not alone as with me today i have the world's strongest Mihawk and Zoro stan, Aeroflame. Roronoa Zoro, also known as "Pirate Hunter" Zoro,[ is the combatant of the Straw Hat Pirates, one of their two swordsmen, one of the Senior Officers of the Straw Hat Grand Fleet, and is publicly recognized as the right-hand man of his crew's captain Monkey D. Luffy. Formerly a bounty hunter, he is the second member of Luffy's crew and the first to join it, doing so in the Romance Dawn Arc. Born in the East Blue, Zoro is the son of Tera and Roronoa Arashi, the grandson of Shimotsuki Furiko and Roronoa Pinzoro, and the grandnephew of Shimotsuki Ushimaru, making him a matrilineal descendant of both the Shimotsuki Family of Wano Country and the legendary samurai, Shimotsuki Ryuma. As a master of Three Sword Style, a swordsmanship style which he created during his childhood training in Shimotsuki Village, Zoro is among the three most powerful combatants of the Straw Hats, alongside Luffy and Sanji, who are referred to as the "Monster Trio". His dream is to become the greatest swordsman in the world, in order to honor a promise he made to his deceased childhood friend Kuina. "Black Leg" Sanji, born as Vinsmoke Sanji, is the cook of the Straw Hat Pirates and one of the Senior Officers of the Straw Hat Grand Fleet. He is the fifth member of the crew and the fourth to join, doing so at the end of the Baratie Arc. Born as the third son and fourth child of the Vinsmoke Family (thus, making him a former prince of the Germa Kingdom), he disowned his family twice, once in his youth and again after reuniting with them as an adult. After fleeing the Vinsmokes as a child, he eventually entered the care of Zeff as the sous chef of the Baratie, where he would remain until he met Monkey D. Luffy, who convinced him to join his crew. His dream is to find the rumored chef's paradise, All Blue, which is where East Blue, West Blue, North Blue, and South Blue meet, along with their wildlife. He is one of the top three fighters of the Straw Hats, alongside Luffy and Zoro, who are referred to as the "Monster Trio". One Piece (stylized in all caps) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Eiichiro Oda. It has been serialized in Shueisha's shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump since July 1997, with its individual chapters compiled into 104 tankōbon volumes as of November 2022. It's amazing how you overlooked that Sanji was the Strawhat who actually single-handedly flipped Odz on Thriller Bark. And that was after he was shot numerous times and stabbed through the heart protecting Nami. Lol
Sanji broke Jyabura while in Tekkai, Zoro had to make Kaku dispell his Tekkai.
And I love how the definition of "tanking" has changed to holding back an attack for 2 seconds and getting teleported out, just because it involves Zoro.
The reason real OP fans don't care about Sanji vs Zoro anymore is because exactly this. The tards on both sides dismiss actual things we've seen on panel for each character, and then absolutely wank other things because it's my "favorite".
Zoro is not one shotting Sanji in any way. Even if Zoro would win more times than not (which I think he would - mostly depending on the environment of the fight), it wouldn't be a one shot battle, nor would it be easy. Oda has shown us this several times.

Zoro would probably win but it would be really close. Let’s not forget Sanji fighting king and queen at the same time and taking like zero damage from seraphim Jimbe’s punch. Plus Sanji’s speed is crazy.
Just want to point out - King wasn't even trying during the sanji v King and Queen segment. Queen went hybrid. King didn't.

I do think that Zoro wins but it WOULD be close. I feel like you guys kinda stacked Zoro’s feats and stats at the end without actually looking at Sanji. Zoro tanking the attack shows a lot of strength. Not necessarily durability bc he didn’t get hit with it and I guess you can argue endurance since he has to endure the force of it. But germas dura and end would help Sanji at least survive the attack. Also for wano, your arguments for zoro winning mainly consist of zoro being fatigued from all the fights. But then you gotta look at Sanji whose body didn’t feel right during the whole raid due to the awakening of his genes. He wasn’t at his best bc of this and he was fighting King & Queen until Zoro got up. Sanji then fully realizes his germa genes, fuses it with his haki and completely no diff Queen who is weaker than King but I’m sure not by a huge margin. & Then Zoro being able to cut Kaido in ASHURA with the power of supreme haki was a good feat, but it doesn’t scale him so high. It surprised Kaido that he was able to cut him meaning that he wasn’t taking Zoro seriously at first. Zoro got so wounded due to both Kaido and BM attacks (more than just the combined attack) which weren’t even their strongest. In short, Kaido or BM would probably kill Zoro with 1 direct hit bc Zoro durability isn’t so strong. Whereas Sanji with his new germa genes, would at most survive a direct hit but with a couple broken bones and probably just knocked out. & Even if he does die, Sanji dura is just higher than Zoros. Ig u can say Sanji dura is relative to Kaido/BM dura. & Yes, Zoro did cut Kaido but that was a drunken Kaido who underestimated Zoro. Sanji who is much faster than Zoro and is aware of how strong he is is not getting hit with that. Fatigued KOH Zoro does scale Zoro higher bc he then beats King in 1 hit. King is stronger than Queen so Ifrit Sanji would probably lose to King at least High Diff. But it still scales KOH Zoro stronger. Also 1 last thing, in Skypiea Sanji takes 2 of Enel lightning while Zoro only takes 1 and is down for the count. Thanks for reading this much. Zoro is stronger and it is close.
i concur with basically everything you stated except for saying sanji's dura would be relative to kaido and bm, because of the two mentioned alone, kaido by FAR has the better durability, and i don't think a single character has shown durability like kaido, or even relatively to, with the exception of maybe luffy, which would be a point of contention, also with the fact that while yes sanji was also very hurt from having to battle and hold off both king and queen, and his body was hindering him a bit, once he awakens we can agree that his body has stopped holding him back, and that he feels different but not in a way where he's being hindered in his combat, while zoro took a pill, but still wasn't 100% because of all the broken bones, if we take into account that sanji was no longer being held back by his body, all that was hindering him in the slightest was his damage from the previous 2v1 against king and queen, which is nowhere near as much damage as zoro took on the rooftop, which is why i feel as if the video exaggerated in light of zoro for the most part, but zoro was hindered more for the portion that actually matters

@@mushy5960 I do agree that Zoro did take more damage than Sanji. However, Zoro was given a medicine that helped him to regenerate to 100%. But in return, he will suffer 2x as much pain once the medicine wears off. So Zoro was at full strength when fighting King. & we can assume that the medicine wears off when Zoro starts to see the grim reaper. Regardless, Zoro was at full strength when he got up. And Sanji realizing his genes doesn't mean he's no longer hindered. We see that he's no longer hindered by his body when he combines his haki with germa genes. He ends up being stronger and faster than when he's at 100%. But it still doesn't matter bc KOH Zoro endured 2x the original pain and managed to beat King. Which shows very high endurance. I think that Zoro is stronger but not by a far margin. Since 'slightly' fatigued Ifrit Sanji one shotted Queen who isn't so much weaker than King. Putting King possibly stronger than 100% Ifrit Sanji but to at least High diff. Putting 100% KOH Zoro stronger than 100% Ifrit Sanji but to at least Mid Diff
@@mushy5960 I'd like to take back one of my statements. Zoro was fighting King at 100% from the start until end of his fight. Since he saw the grim reaper indicating that he was close to death since the meds wore off. Which means KOH Zoro did not withstand 2x more damage when fighting King and did not start off fatigued. Basically putting Sanji and Zoro closer but with Zoro being stronger.

I think his cooking subplot got dropped by Oda (just like how chopper 7 transformations never show up) after that one time in Punk Hazard. Everyone except Luffy & Zoro got reduction on their characterizations & subplots sadly.
One Piece is difficult to powerscale because its so narratively driven. Sanji and Zoro are the wings of the future pirate king, you cant have one wing be stronger than the other. They are narratively supposed to match, contrast, and work well together. Im honestly tired of bias, i may be a Sanji fan but I dont want to hate Zoro just because of the constant bashing fans do, i just wanna enjoy both characters for what they are meant to be

Even with so many broken bones and all those injuries, he still managed to use one last attack and scar kaido with it. A feat only oden had achieved before.

Zoro is NOT one shooting sanji. Sanji has the better durability and regeneration to tank zoro attacks. It’s a high diff for zoro for sure and he definitely has to use ashura adv coc.

If this is in reference to what occurred on Egghead, that’s not how it happened.
Zoro had his eyes on S Hawk the entire time, and Sanji was moving out of Zoro’s line of sight.

I agree, Zoro wins here. But this downplays Sanji in every way possible. Narratively speaking they HAVE to be close in strength in order to be Luffy's "wings", as Rboin says. One wing must not be bigger than the other. Sanji's own feats are overshadowed by some of Zoro's such as Zoro scarring Kaidou, but Onigashima Sanji with his massive speed and durability boost + unlocking irfrit jambe puts him very close to Zoro's level. Zoro wins, but he doesn't no diff. Zoro wins high/extreme diff

I like most of your vids as the power scaling seems to be mostly right but here it does show favoritism when your forgetting that Oda always potrays them to be nearly equal its just that Zoro has the edge (probably cause Oda himself likes Zoro more). Saying Zoro tanked the combined attack (not even their strongest) and not saying he gets ko'd and saved by pre exo Sanji becoming burrito Zoro is sorta misleading making us believe he tanked it and then continued fighting when he had more rest than Sanji who was fighting both King and Queen with some Marco support at the time. I think even Luffy Law and Kid couldve tanked it its just that it had to be Zoro because if it was Luffy Law or Kid they wouldve lost to Kaido or Big mom in the end because Law or Kid cant 1v1 BM and if Luffy is out I 100% think he would come back but unlike before Kaido would have the edge and kill him while still having enough stamina to help BM even if its not enough.

I think you can make a real case for Sanji winning in Wano. Queen uses light beam weapons but couldn’t perceive Sanji who was moving so fast so that he thought he went invisible. One of the panels it could also be interpreted that Sanji out ran some of the lasers. Sanji arguably has at minimum top 4 durability of the arc. Zoro would need conquerers coating to damage him. Sanji also kicked Queen out of Onigashima which is so big that it dwarfs giants as big as Oars. Either way I think it’s extreme diff. If you put Zoro into the position he was in against King then Sanji wins, if you put him in the position he was against Kaido then probably Zoro. If you just want to put them against each other in their peaks so far I think it’s extreme diff either way

If Sanji was at his peak, the fight would have been a lot easier for him.
Kaku and Jabra only has 20 Doriki difference, and Zoro somewhat struggled against Kaku up until he used Asura.

Zoro high diff. The end. Zoro just has feats far above Sanji in Wano. It's not a slam. If Zoro didn't have as crazy feats as he does from the rooftop against the Yonko, it would be extreme diff. Zoro then fought King who was so strong that he was man handling post-rooftop Zoro, when not even going all out. And Zoro took control of his Advanced Conquerors Haki and beat full power King. Yes, Sanji did beat Queen easily after his powerup, but post-rooftop Zoro could beat Queen without Advanced Conquerors Haki, with his like 4th strongest move. People also for some reason think Zoro has the same level of observation, speed, reaction time as Queen, so the fight would start and Sanji disappears, but Zoro was fighting against the Yonko so he has much higher observation, speed... duh. Sanjis speed would be tough to deal with for Zoro, but only when he goes Ifrit, in my opinion. I think Zoro could still follow Diable Jambe Sanji normally. Sanji also doesn't have Kaido/BM level durabillity as some people think he now has due to his exoskeleton. If Zoro hits him it will do a lot of damage. I mean his neck broke from a Queen sword swing. What do you think a ACoc attack from Zoro would do. Sanji can heal, but his healing speed and quality probably depends on the level of damage he recieves. Oh, and Zoro can cut flames. If Shanks hits Sanji with Divine departure and let's say Sanji somehow stays conscious. Do you think he would immediately heal, like he did against Queen. Probably not. It would probably not only do a ton more damage, but the healing proccess would probably take longer to fix a wound from Shanks than from a Queen sword swing, because the degree of damage is in another league. We have to see more of his healing of course to determine exactly how it works.

AP/strength: Zoro takes this easily. Not only he has advanced arnament, but he unlocks KOH along with advanced conquers which is one of the best power ups you can even get.
Speed: Now this catagory can be argued either way. Sanji in his fight against king achieves ifrit jambe which enhances speed and power. And in queen’s perspective, sanji is moving so fast he gains invisibility which is actually insane. Sanji in egghead intercepts kizaru’s attack which is pretty cool. But I think a lot of people underestimate zoro’s speed feats. Marco is a character who can intercept the admirals attacks. And it’s confirmed that marco has reaction/combat speed similar to the admirals. King is a character who honestly beats marco in a straight 1v1 which in general put’s reaction speed in that admiral level. Zoro can react to king in his weakest( he took the drug but it gives him strength to fight, not strength permanently ). And zoro in KOH can react to off flames king and later negs him. I think in terms of travel speed sanji has the edge by A LITTLE BIT. The gap isn’t that large but I believe zoro has better reaction speed while Sanji has the better travel speed by a tiny bit.
Durability: Sanji takes this since he has the exoskeleton buff which pretty much increased his durability by a lot. Bro shattered queen’s sword just by standing still 💀
Endurance: Zoro takes this. Zoro will most of his strength blocks a combined attack from an amped big mom AND kaido which is honestly insane. And zoro who has almost his bones broken still outpaces kaido in ashura and scars him. And this is zoro AT his weakest.

So what to conclude: I believe this fight is more of a high diff fight with zoro as the winner. Not only he has the better reaction speed, but he has the power and endurance to put Sanji down and outlast him. Sanji’s feats is impressive but he isn’t surpassing zoro as of now sadly. And durability won’t matter for zoro as advanced haki negates durability. We literally see this when zoro is the first one to do actual damage to kaido after using ashura. So pretty much, Sanji only has speed ngl. Yes he he has good AP but zoro has better AP and with advanced haki, that durability won’t really matter

As a neutral I'm just here to say to watch the war unfold. Zoro and Sanji both serve different purposes in the story, and sadly in terms of strength that falls more to Zoro cause that's his main purpose in the story. Both characters bring different things to the table and that the other doesn't and that's why I love them.

Zoro is very clearly a step above Sanji in pretimeskip until Enies Lobby. Constantly performing similar or just better feats

Post timeskip until Wano Zoro is super clearly multiple steps above Sanji. Zoro was constantly shown to be performing crazy shit while Sanji honestly was severely lacking in fights for most of it. Zoro got the spotlight for most of the timeskip in terms of scaling.
Wano to currently in the manga Sanji is clearly a step above Zoro. Was directly given better feats than Zoro in most categories (like around 75% of categories) and better direct comparisons than Zoro. Oda even went as far as to literally show Sanji blitzing Zoro. Zoro fans aint happy but it is what it is. Sanjis ontop for an arc or two until the next major powerup where Zoro grows stronger.
Actually thrillar bark again showed the gap (watch them fight kuma).
So technically zoro was above sanji throughout the show (till wano).
Nothing suggest sanji is over zoro now (yes sanji's powerup is impressive)..........luffy was a weakling got adv coc starting fighting kaido as an equal (just by getting it).......then there is yamato who has adv coc who is weak

Zoro was the rooftop mvp, was fighting both yonkous, being able to hold his ground while protecting luffy in multiple scenarios. The first one to make Kaido dodge and to hurt him. Tank alot of top tiers attacks and blocked even for One momento the most insane attack we have ever seen in One Piece. Fought king who was taking him seriously the whole fight, and after his Power Up 3 taped that dude.
Sanji feats was holding king/Queen off for a momment with a help from Marco, i guess losing to Black Maria but we dont talk about that one its not fair.
His fight with Queen, Queen was not taking him seriously almost the whole fight he was kidding and insulting sanji to put his suit on, even shot himself multiple times but after Sanji Power Ups he started being serious. Sanji needed like alot of kicks to put him down.
And well i should mention this, he tanked that sword attack to the neck while distracted without using haki, but honestly thats not a great feat, such lame attack, an sword attack from a non-swordsman, who was not using haki either(otherwise the blade wouldnt break), and It was not even a special attack.
Zoro feats were better and against better opponents
Sanji feats were good, but against queen
He unlocked advanced conquerors defeated king and did big damage to kaido how exactly aren't these good feats

In Wano Sanji got extremely high AP, got ludicrous strength buffs, has completely overwhelming speed the likes of which even the fastest in the verse can't react to, has extremely high Regen that can only be topped by Marco the god of Regen himself on top of high durability which only makes the Regen more efficient, feels less pain to an extremely high degree, has dura neg and even got an endurance buff that puts zoro's to shame. Sanji got so broken in the span of an arc that he legit has durability against durability negation..... that seriously shouldn't even be possible. Sanji got all the buffs a man could want and Zoro got a sword and some Haki buffs. Yes the sword is extremely strong and the coc Haki is extremely strong but that's 2 buffs. Sanji got like 20. Do you see what I mean now? There's no competition here. Sanji is stronger for now.

While I agree Zoro would win, I would like to mention that the fights you used to put him above Sanji are more arguable than you made it seem.
In Alabasta, Mr. 1 may be the lower number but he has a partner. Mr. 2 Bon Clay on the other hand is both the male and female of the Mr. 2 pair (hence why he is both Mr. 2 and Bon Clay, a number and a date). Thus, rather than this showing Mr. 2 Bon Clay to be weaker than Mr. 1, it instead means that he is weaker than the combination of Mr. 1 and Miss Doublefinger. He may well be weaker than Mr. 1, but this is not necessarily true (as you will see is a running theme since Oda likes to keep who is stronger at least slightly ambiguous).
In Enies Lobby, while Jabra is indeed 20 doriki (2 fodder navy soldiers) weaker than Kaku, this is in base. They both have zoan forms, and Jabra's is a carnivorous zoan (which is considered ambiguously stronger than a typical zoan). Also, Jabra has trained with his fruit for longer and should thus get a larger boost. Again, Kaku might be stronger but in this case it is likely that Jabra is truly stronger at his best, so Zoro effectively oneshotting Kaku in asura while Sanji merely mid to low diffs Jabra in diable jambe does not 100% mean that Zoro is stronger (again, Oda hints that Zoro is stronger but allows an argument for Sanji)
Finally, while King is obviously stronger than Queen, Zoro mid to high diffs King while this time Sanji one shots Queen with Ifrit jambe, so this again is not airtight reasoning.
Again, I do agree with your outcome and the majority of your points, I just wanted to bring up the ambiguity that I think Oda intentionally left in their fights to allow for this very debate.

Zoro does win, but it's close. Ya'll are making us Zoro fans look bad with these kinds of videos. Zoro is stronger than Luffy pre-timeskip? What are you on? Luffy defeated the strongest CP9 member in Enies Lobby, albeit extreme-diff, who was around twice as strong as the one Zoro beat. Zoro took Luffy's pain, but Luffy also took Luffy's pain. The rest of the video up until the end is accurate, but Sanji got a huge power increase by Wano (Wano powercreep) which put him roughly relative to Zoro after he got Enma, and then post-Wano their upgrades are still putting them roughly relative, with Zoro's upgrades coming out on top. It's a high-extreme diff battle, especially as Sanji is strong against physical attacks.
I feel this ignores how the series consistently shows us Zoro and Sanji are equals. Not exactly the same, they have different specialities, but they’re supposed to be and are regularly shown to be roughly equal in strength.
Plus, it’s One Piece. Trying to scale characters doesn’t really work like, say, Dragon Ball because the series doesn’t operate on “Power Levels” where x character is just “stronger” than y - match ups, individual factors and fighting styles make a massive difference (for example, Ace roughly equalling Aokiji, but losing hard to Akainu despite the admirals proven to be about as equal as you can get to each other)

Imagine a fight, Sanji uses his fists like Garp vs Zoro with ACOC. That would be a fight to see.
Zoro stalled the attack for a single second, with his swords not his body. He had to use his strongest attack using 9 swords just to scratch kaido. Mind you enma was the only reason Zoro was able to unlock his conquerors haki, enma was also the only reason zoro was able to scratch kaido. Zoro extreme diffed king at full health, the only thing zoro didn’t recover was his stamina. Meanwhile Sanji never got healed during the raid. Before even awakening his germa abilities, he was able to clash against king with no trouble, sanji was just stalling king and queen which was why he didn’t go all out. Cus who would wanna 1v2 yonko commanders, which was why he waited for zoros recovery. He then proceeded to awaken his germa abilities, and no diff queen. Being so fast he completely disappeared (keep in mind not even Queen a yonko commanders observation haki could comprehend this speed) and having the AP and raw power to not only defeat queen, but send him flying across wano. Sanji wins against zoro mid-high diff.
We don't really know if Miyagi's medicine returned Zoro to full health. You also conveniently left out all the times Sanji got free hits on Queen when he was distracted, or even Queen damaging himself.
And how was Queen vs Sanji a no-diff when it took so many attacks to bring Queen down and Sanji lost consciousness immediately after the fight?
