I hope the Sonic Boom of the South do a real band dance before the season is over. The rumor is that two Drum Majors are injured, hurt, grades not good are whatever the reason they are not marching we truly don't know. The J5 Drum Majors are the most imitated squad across other high school bands and very popular out of the HBCU's besides, FAMU, Bethune Cookman and the Funky Four of Alcorn State. When you wear the light color blue instead of the dark blue uniform, you need to but on extra undergarments. It is an embarrassment to be sweaty in your private area before the game starts in the Zero Quarter. In addition, the Head Drum Major has a hole in his pants. Marching in for a game and especially Homecoming like this is totally unacceptable. Some things are common sense. It should not take an advisor or band director to tell college/university students how to maintain a uniform and hygiene. I have been a fan of the Boom since the early 90's. The Jsettes and the Boom need to listen to some of their old heads when it comes to constructive criticism. The Fans and Supporters should tell the truth and speak the truth instead of making excuses for this well-known musical organization when things are not right. There are cameras everywhere in this era of social media. A lot of the things that are being criticized are things that happened before the cell phone and social media era, but now you must have your I's dotted and T' crossed.
Why does Jackson State always have a zillion ppl on the sidelines every game, besides the homecoming court; when The Band and The J-Settes are performing?

I'm speaking on the fact that every halftime show there's a million folks gathered down there behind the J-Settes/in front of the band. All of those folks aren't staff, so is that everybody in the band and staff family & friends? Like it's annoying that's why I stop going to the games. If you've seen one J-Sette routine this year, you've seen them all. Every routine looks the same, with no variety in routines at all. Rolling around on the ground every routine is getting old. The element of 'dance" is nonexistent in J-Sette routines.
You old hags have been complaining about J-Setting for decades at this point. You’re still looking for “dancing” as if J-Setting isn’t already an established form of dance itself. Take your dentures out your mouth and shut up.

The drummmajor entry was sloppy. Dr. Little showed that he still has it. I wish all the dancers would do pony tails for homecoming. Or at least uave all crab dancers wear them. Kewp the tradition alive. The twiler was ready. LoL The overall show was okay.
And another thing: why JSU still do that royal crap?.???.SU and ASU don’t do that mess! Seriously, that so high school. I graduated already. I don’t want see that at COLLEGE game. Golden Girls Uniform for their Homecoming 2023 was a Homecoming Uniform. Ms. Diana Williams assist those who appreciate her unlike her Alma Matar at various times. Ms. Narah Dean Oatis would have never worn something this uniform for Homecoming. They always had a Beautiful and Elegant Uniform. The Footage Does Not Lie. Ms. Crowley's mother danced under her so she knows better. When you know better you are to do better. Dance Okay but Not What I Expected for Ms. Crowley's Ten Year Anniversary. Since all of the Hype Videos that have been released on CZcams this week about how awesome and great dancer she is and has brought the Jsettes to a new standard of excellence. The only Excellence the Jsettes has had is the Narah Dean Oatis Era.

Our uniforms have an area of different material in the pants. So that mobility is more comfortable and smooth. It is NOT sweat.
