I regret testing this Modpack | Minecraft: A Horror Pack

- I needed to make a Modpack for friends and I to play and scream at. I made one and went through all the trouble of making sure it booted only for me to be stuck in the endless loading screen with no fix in sight. So, I found GameZocker_12's "Horror of The Night" Modpack and decided to work off that by adding a few extra mods and removing a couple, hence the need for testing.
I sorta ruined a bit of the pack for myself but that comes with testing, I like it so far and it definitely made sitting alone in a dark room playing Minecraft an experience I'd barely want anyone to endure. I'm gonna do it again.
Please understand I am not a Minecraft CZcamsr, I just play games, get clips, and edit them together on whatever game I feel like. On occasion I'll post in-depth videos or stuff like my Deimos video, but nothing super extreme for now. That's all I wanted to say here, sorry to disappoint if you thought I was only playing Minecraft.

ah, yes, watching this at midnight when I can't deal with jump scares to save my life is an excellent choice on my part.

the Broly skin makes this a little bit funnier, just imagining Broly being in this scenario, this massively powerful dude, and being scared shitless by every weird sound effect the game throws at him

That "peekabo i see you" and "help me" audio stuff takes me out of the immersion, it would be so much better if it was distant, its so in your face that it feels cringe cuz all i hear is some random ass dude trying to be scary with a voice filter
Yeah honestly it could use better sounds. The ambience is great, the first minute of just exploring the empty house and walking across the empty plains with nothing but bird cawing was amazing. Id suggest more sound mods for even more ambience, as well as either muting the default minecraft music or using a custom music pack.
Im gonna yap aabout game design for this next section so uh,
TLDR: make sure you add mods that give you reason to go out and explore, and also add mods that allow you to adapt to the threats that hunt you.
This may be optional but id maybe suggest a terrain generation mod that generally makes the world bigger by adding mountains or larger trees, it would help to make the player feel smaller, like this isnt their world. This is why scape and run parasites is so terrifying because it changes the world to oppose you, it makes a foe that surrounds you by claiming the world that you live in, making you want to lock youself in your base in order to keep yourself safe. Although in order to prevent youself from doing and making the experience boring i'd also suggest adding mobs that can break blocks, and adding resources that can only be found in either different biomes, or exclusively on the surface. You need to have to take risks sometimes, and a solution that isnt just running back to your base.

The 2 hours of sleep hitting in the middle of the day modpack: audiovisual hallucinations included!!
The first glitch you encountered was with one of those stone angel things (I forgot what they are called). It was due to their ability to teleport you randomly into any dimension. By your luck, you got teleported to the endgame boss fight for the Witherstorm mod. However, since there wasn't any Witherstorm present, it was just a void.

To be fair hearing something loud in the distance IS scary. If there's something out there that actually IS capable of making that noise and it isn't just an ambience, then I DO NOT want to see it.

Also biggest problem with these horror creature mod's is that they do their shit way to much like audio stuff going off all the time them being up your ass all the time they need a rework so they chill the fuck out and make you wonder when they will come for you
One last thing you need to do different horror series with different monster's and stuff with you either being by yourself or with someone else

1:26 this is probably a bug since you are inside the wither storm bowels dimension, you can usually go there only when wither storm is in its final stage. And its giant in yhis phase.
