Officially Bernie hasn't retired. He made a statement the other day I believe to that extent. And thank god for that. He deserves a proper send off season instead of leaving it so open ended as it stands now. New York loves him and I so hope the Yankees Big Heads find a way to utilize him that respects his value and passion for this organization.

If you're talkin' about the guy next to Bernie with the blonde hair, that's Derek Trucks, nephew of Butch Trucks, one of the drummers. Elijah Blue has his own band called Deadsy. I personally haven't seen him perform with his dad, not to say he hasn't, but he has performed for sure with his other son Devon. He's in a band called Honeytribe.

always good to see sports stars that can be equally as talented at other things, such as music. another would be wayman tisdale, who became a smooth/comtempory jazz phenom after his NBA stint. are there any other musical sports stars? i can't think right now.

derek trucks is one of the greatest guitarists on the planet. fact. whoever here isnt sure about it should spend a couple bucks and hit the beacon in march. you can see for yourself.
Derek is the heart and soul of the ABB. I wish Dickie would put his ego aside and come back as a regular member--not boss--of this band. Derek and Dickie each bring different things to what would be the greatest band alive.

I seen him play years back on Letterman so this is no huge surprise,the weirder part is I was just listening to this song about 10 minutes ago by Alex Taylor(cd). Very weird coincidence(I wasn't looking for this particular song. BTW,this version is better...
