Today I'm trying the '333' Capsule Wardrobe Challenge that's been taking over Tiktok, where you take 3 tops, 3 bottoms and 3 pairs of shoes to see how many outfits you can come up with. I think this is a great mini capsule wardrobe challenge that you can try to get more wear out of the clothes you already own, and to even find more ideas on how to style new items you may have bought to extend the cost per wear right off the bat!

As a sweaty person, 3 tops ain’t enough! 😂 but it’s a nice creative challenge. Love how you just own up to all black outfits and enjoy them… if that’s what you like, no point forcing yourself to wear bright colours

This was a really fun one! Tried to create outfits in my head with 9 items while watching and realized that I tend to wear certain styles of shoes with certain bottoms. Eg I like my loafers with wide leg trousers but not with my skirts - or my round toed boots with my skirts but not my wide leg trousers. Food for thought!

I love Vivienne Files - the creator Janice Rigsby invented one she calls Stress Dressing.
It’s a 10 item mini capsule: 1 layer, 2 bottoms & 3 tops with shoes, purse, earrings and a scarf.
It’s pulled together for stress days to reduce decision fatigue and discomfort with clothes. Preplanned for rough days. I use it for weekend packing.
This challenge would be fun to try with my current stress dressing capsule. Add 3 more accessories.

I love this challenge! A few things you did really well was picking a causal pant, a dressy pant, and a skirt - this gives your outfits dramatic differences. Your vest was also a great choice because it's slightly cropped which changed the waistline visually compared to the other tops. And of course, having a "pop of colour" piece was great too. I think if you had 3 different colour tops it would have worked slightly better (think a dark grey long sleeve, or a cream vest). I would also include a scarf as an accessory. I'll definitely try this at home!

I enjoyed your experimentation with the blazer. Not every look is going to be a winner, but you seemed to really enjoy exercising creativity. How fun was that? And how would you know if it works or not if you don’t try?
I know you posted this 3 months ago, but for outfit #24, something that would look cute would be to either tuck in the bottom of the pants into the shoes (if possible), or get some black ribbon to tie around the ankle of each pant leg. Visually, it would give continuity bc of how the bottom of the leg falls over the shoe. Just an idea to try & see if you like it. This in reference to the black shoe version.
Great challenge! Good combinations. But, for myself, I do not like the split sleeve of an otherwise lovely the green jacket. Thank you, Christina, for all of your videos.

This is a fun project I'm definitely giving this a go.
It took me a minute but i figured out 180 looks. But that only happens if you're able to pull that particular skirt over the top of your chest to make it shorter & a "strapless" dress out of it. Good job!

This is how I pack to travel: 3 tops + 3 bottoms + 3 shoes that all mix n match = 27 outfits
Interesting choice of tops. I think the white shoe needs a tie-in on top. The blazer shouldn't count as a top so you could add a white shirt.

Such a shame kotn isn't size inclusive. As a plus size woman I never have the option to buy sustainable nice quality clothes.

I realize it's because it has circled back around, but it's so sad to me to see this as TikTok's 333 rather than the original blog! This has been big in the minimalist fashion since it's conception and is not just a trend, just an ongoing popular tool. (Which most people watching Christina's content know anyway given this isn't the first time she's done 333, iirc, but just a side tangent.)
I mention Courtney carver in the video - Rachel’s challenge is different than Courney’s and has a different goal. Just the names are similar
