What is the hp numbers for 93 base tune ? Rough estimate whp.
This was 91, so a few more on 93 probably as it will like the better octane for more timing.

I love seeing people show 4.0s love but after seeing the dyno numbers im so glad i didnt sink any money in mine and sold it for a 5.0 last year lmfao

Love to see the 4.0 love. Everyone knows the 4.0 isn't a 4.6 an of course not a coyote. This makes for an even more custom mustang without trying to be something it isnt.

wish you guys would do 3.8L content. there's a guy on youtube named Mustang v6 Tech Support that has a built, 3.8 tbird block, with 07freestar front accessories, a 4.2L f150 crank, and a water cooled upper intake on his twin turbo engine, and has another engine he's building that has a Nissan gtr upper intake. its a wild build. I'd love to see you guys do some work on a 3.8 L
Just no money in it. No one buys a 3.8 that really has money to buy it and try to go fast

Mine woth cai and exhaust made 201whp and 235wtq. Was a pleasant surprise
Must be tuned
You guys should test the free 4.0 EGR tube mod and dyno the results. There is a 5/8 tube that 90° bends right behind the throttle body restricting airflow that you cut off flush amd reinstall. Doesn't thow a CEL or anythin. I noticed immediately it had better throttle response low-mid rpm and high rpm/CFM it sounded louder and pulled very slightly harder. I saw a 4-6% fuel trim change after the mod from 3k rpm to redline. If you're running boost that extra cross sectional volume will help make 400hp alittle easier. For a free SMOG compliant performance mod it's worth testing if you have a spare 5-15min to do the mod.

Also really neat to see the stock dyno run, I guess I was doing pretty well with mine lol.. was making quite a bit more HP and torque with the stock tune with what I had done (211hp/254ftlbs)
Yes we still agree it's not a good engine but boosted we are hoping for 400 rwhp
@@automafiaracing Yeah 400 isn't unrealistic, that's about what the supercharger kits would make
Before considering the LS swap, I was toying with the idea of doing a rear mount turbo, Liveronois offered to tune it for me and was the only shop around me I could find at the time
Yeah this kit we are building will be on the shelf for customers to install at home

Thats the sketchiest looking TQ curve ive ever seen a 4.0 make stock.
Maybe your guy was using those stacked floor mats to play with throttle position on the first dyno kinda like the second when you thought you broke something.
Either way. Nice to see the 4.0 get some love other than from the American muscle guys years ago.
Id like to see what type of NA numbers they can get these days with the tech and tuning software available vs yesteryear
