A Thank you. Great video and especially because you included a tip for getting the connectors onto the hose. They're very tight as you say even if you heat the hose in hot water. I hadn't thought about the silicone lubricant trick.
I’m really grateful for this simple demonstration. I was wondering what extra pieces I needed for my Cadac .. You made this very clear thank you very much👍
Hi Jonathan, It really does make it so simple and easy to set up and put away. Well worth the pennies. Glad you found the vlog useful and thanks for watching.
I think that's the standard fit for all CADAC bbq's, but just for speed and convenience and not having to unscrew each time we set up and dismantled, we went for the optional quick release. I think I first saw the QR at the show last September at NEC on their stand. Pure laziness on my part, but what the hell. lol
Many thanks, very much appreciated. I'm enjoying watching your journey. Appleby is beautiful isn't it. I've never been during Horse Fair as it looks crazy busy for such a small village.
Hi Dan. Just Subscribed. Found video very useful, we are looking at getting a Cadac in the near future, probably now for next year. This is the first video that shows you how to connect, the only difference for us is that we do not have an external gas point. That point about the length of hose is very useful. I would get a smaller gas bottle for the Cadac which could double up as a standby bottle if my main bottle ran out. Thanks, I look forward to looking at other of your Vlogs. Ian
Hi Ian. Thanks for subscribing and watching. I’m pleased you found it useful. I think the idea of a smaller gas bottle is brilliant for the bbq and as you mentioned it’s a good back up also. We’ve had little opportunity to use the Cadac since we’ve had it as it’s rained every holiday. Looking forward to using it more. Thanks once again for watching.
Many thanks. The burger was delicious. Still full. Also thank you for your help and advice when I was starting out with the CADAC. It really did make life a lot easier.
@@CarrsCaravan thanks for that, we are thinking of getting 1 but we think the small one will be ok for just 2 of us, I might go and look at them when we are allowed to go shopping.
If I remember correctly the CC2 is promoted as suitable for 6 people, so I would think the next range down would be fine for two. For me it was also about the height of the BBQ and being 6'4" I wanted to be comfortable leaning over it. Well worth going to have a look when you can as I also found all the different combinations overwhelming and so seeing them in person helped me to decide. It's worth searching online once you've decided as there was some good prices to be had and occasionally a sale offer or two popped up on certain combo's.
Great info and straightforward, Thankyou. 👍

Thanks for watching Mark. Really pleased you found it helpful.
Very informative, could you tell me, is that the smaller cadac? Thanks
Hi mick mousley. This was the largest at the time being the Carri Chef 2, however I believe this has now been replaced with the newer Carri Chef 50.
