Fun fact Hagenezuka actually likes making tanjiros swords because many people that got their swords made by him stopped asking for his servise because of how rude he was to then the fact that tanjiro still respects him and keeps asking for swords made by him makes him happy that he gets to keep making swords for someone that appreciates it. Only reason hes mad at tanjiro is because hes mad at himself because he believes that his crafting skills are so bad that its the reason tanjiro keeps breaking them

In the manga this sword also breaks in the swordsmith village arc but haganezuka gets so mad why his swords keep breaking so he put all his energy to refine a very ancient sword which no one can do
So basically, just make haganezuka angry so that he'll give you a god sword

no, in swordsmith village the little kid gives him a training sword against the yorichii doll. also after he chips the sword against daki, during the swordsmith village arc hagenezuka takes the 300 year old blade but gives tanjiro a new blade which is also identical to his old ones, then he gets his 300year old blade and thats what he uses for the rest of the series. SO in conclusion you missed the training sword, and another identical copy sword.

I'm pretty sure he gets 5 instead of 4. Of course, there's the blade he trained with and fought with while on Mt. Sagiri and Mt. Fujikasane! Then there's the Nichirin Sword that he gets right after Final Selection which he breaks on Mt. Natagumo against Rui. Then he gets another sword that is identical to the one before which he loses after throwing it at Akaza. Senjuro gives Tanjiro the Tsuba that was on Rengoku's sword. However, it isn't until after the Entertainment District arc (where he loses another sword) and the battle in the Swordsmith Village, that he finally gets the sword with Rengoku's Tsuba on it and we will see him use it from the Hashira Training Arc onwards.

Correction: The blades of the sword he got after Mugen Train Arc got chipped when fighting Daki (Upper Moon 6). Because of which Haganezuka refused to give Tanjiro another sword and Tanjiro went to his village to convince him. By the end of the arc he receives the sword that you mentioned.
