    Tip: Single crochet stitches are the easiest for beginners. When it comes to crocheting amigurumi, definitely use single crochet always. double crochet and treble crochet stitches make bigger stitches and can have bigger holes in the stitches. When it comes to stuffing, I recommend saving money by putting in yarn scraps instead of real stuffing. It’s especially nice if the yarn scraps are the same color as the amigurumi so then u don’t notice the holes in the stitches if the yarn stretched.

      Thank you so much for all the tips!!! I haven’t crochet again for some time but I was working on making a blanket right before I stopped. I’ll need to start again.

    5:08 tip- careful when it asks u if u are left or right handed. It’ll probably tell you to use the hand u write with for holding ur crochet hook and u might not want to do that. I am left handed for writing, but I am right handed to do pretty much everything else. I crochet with my right hand. It’s definitely the more popular way to crochet as well. So be careful

    The number 1 thing that helped me: marking the first stitch of a round or row with a stitch marker. Sosososososo helpful especially when working in the round.
    Past that, put a clasping/closing stitch marker in the current live stitch when one puts their project down. It'll make it much harder to pull the stitch.
    Scrap yarn makes great amigurumi/plushie stuffing, and can be used as a stitch marker.
    I realize this won't be super helpful to the OP given the age of the video, but for other people learning to crochet hopefully they'll see this. 🙂

      That is super helpful! Thank you so much!! I haven't made more amigurumi projects but I did pick up some books from the library for different patterns. I'm still trying to finish a blanket for my daughter, it seems like it's taking forever tho lol

      If you have gotten the wooble, the envolope that says “wee woobly bits” should have a qr code for you to scan with your camera. After scanning it, you should get the tutorial. If you haven’t done this, i hope this helps!

    Just ordered my first wobbles kit. But I can tell you that I started out crocheting blankets and beanies. Blankets are the easiest to start out with

    • @maddiemaddieeee
      @maddiemaddieeee  Před rokem +6

      I'm sorry but I'm gonna have to say no. I think their main thing is also selling the instruction along with the kit. I think it would be highly unethical for me to share it here. You could get free patterns on google, though it may not be the exact one that I made here. If I'm not mistaken, Woobles sells pattern book on their website :)
