Oh wow, so similar to how I ended up in K. I taught fifth, fourth, first, a second/first combo, second for ten years, and then I was moved to K. It was the last grade I would have picked, Here I am 5 years later and completely in love with Kindergarten!!

Do you model/practice the morning arrival the first day? If so, how long do you need to practice before they behind independent?
