The Axial RBX10 RYFT just came out this week and I knew I had to have it! This thing is amazing! Its so nice to finally have a RTR Rock Bouncer. You guys should get you one!

Just drove mine for the first time ever and wow is there a learning curve! I'm usally just a rock crawler and to fly up a hill and try to control it while it flys up a hill it is insane! Look forward to practicing this weekend but what I can say folks is if you own this rig or plan on getting this rig YOU WILL DESTROY HILLS!! Also might want to wear saftey glasses I named mine Rock Flinger.

You can set it up to crawl. just lock some diffs, reduced the power, and change some settings in the ESC. It has a crawler ESC in it.

yeah it does have some drag break. I'll mess with the settings later as I drive it.

* unrelated question * Do you have hub "play" or "slop" on the e-revo 2.0? I got mine today, not even driven yet,but if i try to move the wheels side to side i can see the hubs wobbling.
No. I mean, just a tad, but nothing I would say is a problem. Make sure your balls on your toe link ends are in their sockets correctly.
@@outsourcedrcI chocked the rest, it seems to be the hubs, but its probably normal. My summit has the same slop, but i tought it is from the years of driving. Thank you!

I've decided I'm getting the black one , then paint the cage orange , then it will show rollover damage in the paint , like medic did , he used blue paint on the orange one , can't wait ! I'm finishing the RC max raminator right now and I'm looking forward to the RYFT ! I think I may need to be checked , or seek help 🤣😂😁😀

Looks like a lot of fun. It does however look Ike it might be prone to a lot of damage on 4s though. Allegedly they are doing a kit version with a gray tube chassis

I really like this thing and its a hard decision..so many other options out there for that price
You’ve stated that you paid $500.00 for the Ryft, but no release date is set for anything before 4-22-2021.. no stores around me have them and no where online have I seen any availability for shipment of the car being in stock.
I mean, its for sale all over the place. I know several people that have bought them. Usually the hobby shops start selling them as soon as they get the full shipment. This was not the demo model.

Its torque twist. Its the twisting of the drive train that does that. Even real cars do that. Watch some tractor trailer drag racing to see it in an extreme way.

I changed my remote for my traxxas maxx and now when I hit the throttle it brakes and when I hit reverse it goes forward what should I do?
Did you plug the wires up wrong? I dont know what your remote is.

Very nice! Was thinking about getting the E Revo 2.0 or the Maxx. But, now you’ve got me thinking about the Ryft. Haha. Suggestions?
I think it really depends on where you have to drive them, considering the Ryft is made for places the other two are not. Als, I need more time with the Ryft to give you my full opinion, but right now I think the E Revo is my favorite out of all of them. The Maxx is stupid tough, but rolls kinda easy. It takes some skill to get used to. The Ryft is nuts for what it is, and will go places neither of those will. I dont think any of them are a bad choice, just know that it takes some skill and practice to get the most out of the Maxx
@@outsourcedrc I appreciate the help. I just bought a Slash 2WD about a month ago. I’ve been bitten by the RC bug for the fist time since I was young. I’m in the foothills of NC. Just wanting something that’ll go through higher grass, concrete/asphalt, and maybe take on some hiking trails with the fam. Was really leaning toward the E Revo, but it may be a little to wide. I can tell that it’s your favorite though. Thx again!

@@Nathan-qt2zi Fair point. For what it's worth, someone asked the same question (Ryft vs. Lasernut) to Harley Designs on CZcams and he said Ryft all the way. Mostly a personal preference thing and what terrain you might use it on most and what you want it for mainly. Lasnernut probably a little better for bigger jumps and overall bashing.
@@grahamfuller12 The lasernut is like a short course truck. This is not. Harley is a crawler fanboy, so of course he likes this more. They aren't similar at all. Completely different suspension and chassis. Lasernut handles better and is overall a better driving experience. This is for people who just want something crazy that doesn't really have a purpose. I honestly prefer the ryft, because I like crazy shit that makes me laugh, but the lasernut is an overall better truck.

I have the Traxxas 6700 mah lipos for it. I run those and I have no issues with the ESC or anything like that.

@@alwaysready6327 I'm not sure. I've never timed it. Maybe 45 mins to an hour? Its long enough. Of course it depends on how you drive and how stock the Xmaxx is
How does this compare to the losi lasernut?
I dont know. I dont have the lasernut, but I wanted it. The Lasernut is a rock racer. Its lower to the ground and more stable. The Ryft is more for going over big rocks and such. It would depend on where you will be driving on what you should get. I do have the Rock Rey and its pretty close to what the Lasernut is. As fun as the Rock Rey is, I would choose the Ryft over it.

They should have included them
but flex is essential to crawl...i removed the sway bar at my 1\14 scale buggy and off road ability increased dramatically.
