It doesn't matter what happened yesterday. It doesn't matter what will happen tomorrow. We are not our mistakes, nor are we our successes. We are this one, eternal, priceless moment. The more we take care of this moment with mindful awareness, the more we tend to it with care and love, the more our lives can blossom.

When my 20 year old daughter passed away, I stood under the stars and asked her what religion was true, because she would be all-knowing at this point, and she replied “there’s none of that here-there’s only love”
In that moment, love became my religion.
I abandoned religions and welcomed the spirit of God!

I lost my Daughter, my health, etc and then began Vipassana. This year I crossed over (enlightenment), and all was necessary for my being; all the hurt, loss and suffering was perfect as it was and Is...good luck and all is LOVE xx

Thank you from a 70-year old NYC raised woman who has taken 40 years to realize what you are at your young age, and now lives in a 442 sq ft house in the middle of nowhere Texas after giving up all my possessions…. Wow! I feel shy of relief after reading your piece. I am 67 with a lot of knowledge about spirituality but I jave not gotten to where you are. But I jave glimpsed peace and I am waiting for total immersion. I understand nothing one does to make it happen. It happens by they grace.

Im only a few minutes in & im gripped i also love the rain, i was laid in bed this morning with my windows wide open as its summer & its red hot next thing I've heard what sounded like the Earth cracking, jolted me out of bed looked out the window & rain wasnt the word it was truly like the heavens opened up, i went straight out in my garden hands to the heavens shouting YESS I AM ALIVE. Over & over WOW I LOVED IT. I was soaking but didn't feel wet. Thank you Brother🙏💛💖💛💖💛💖

You can never know God, never be God. What you can be is yourself. Anyone who assumes to be God is purely arrogant and blasphemous. God is the one who consciously created the universe as the mother procreates a baby and the One by whose grace illusion of self can be seen through. Just like you cannot be your mother and cannot experience her life, you cannot experience God's state.
What is possible is for God, who is omniscient, to help you dissolve back into His grace, just as the baby meets its mother and finds peace but would be so stupid for the baby to say "I am the mother" and try to be independent. When applied to your Creator, that is blasphemy towards your only source of salvation.

Dear Todd, I concur with your thoughts on unity and Oneness. However, when it comes to guidance, only the omnipotent God, the creator of universe, can truly provide direction. Myself and my wife did almost same thing sold it all bought RV live in it cross the country helping people, laundry mat, gas station, side of road etc then off to airport with backpack to go see rest of world see our Brothers and Sisters 🙏🌎

Asking an old Australian indigenous man if he had a choice of this settlement life ( only a couple of hundred yrs into its infancy atm ) asked would he choose his hunter gatherer lifestyle over settlement lifestyle…He replied he’d go back in a heartbeat… I asked is there anything from this lifestyle he’d take back, he said yes definitely his surfboard & accoustic guitar…, I said well what would he do when they break, he said find materials to make another similar one

Human beings have this tendency of hurrying, going into extremes. We get too busy or then run away to some totally quiet place doing nothing. The world is full of duality, and the challenge lies in keeping our mind totally in our control, the quietude is within us. We can have the outside in approach but insistence on outward quietude, peace is another trap.

Like 15 minutes before this ended I went into a yoga nidra pose and listened. I started crying, and I could feel my heart open up. It’s been awhile since I felt that. Thank you. I even hugged myself. The only thing is my moments were interrupted by ads.

So many great points. I feel as if I’m on this journey myself. Over the years…I’ve slowly become an essential minimalist. My first experience with a deprivation tank (in 2015) changed me. I discovered all I need is my mind,heart,soul, breath & Christ w/ me. I felt at peace, no worries, safe & loved. Ultimate surrender & let go.
I feel as if I’m on track to dedicate my life to helping others in need.

I've always considered myself an optimist. I relistened to your declaration that you are "an I don't knowist" wow...had to rewind several times to re-listen. I loved that so much I'm going to introduce it into my vocabulary and see what happens! Also relistened to your statement that the universe is in control and the more we try to control things the further away they become...it's almost like control is a repellant. These are spiritual principles that I've known fundamentally for a long time but apparently I needed a reminder. Thanks so much for sharing your journey Todd!

We were given the exceptional beauty of OUR PLANET,…which is gorgeous and perfection and we were supposed to live within this beauty. Why couldn’t we just be happy living with nature?? Living within nature? Nature was meant to take care of us.
When I look at what we have turned it into…it does create a sad ache in my heart. Life wasn’t meant to be about “things and stuff”. We lost our way but, need to get back to that as much as possible. This video speaks alot of my thoughts and feelings exactly! Love it! ❤😊

Beautifully written, Spoken , The scenery. All of this Documentary touched me deeply. At the beginning the request was made to not only view this Doc but feel it as the Observer. Curiosity caught me at that point& so I did observe my own thoughts. I’ve some baggage that means nothing to my life I’ve been carrying around. Simplify is new Moto. WOW..!! Todd, you have brought the life long teachings I wanted to underestand, directly to me. THANK YOU and NAMASTE.. Previously I was accepted to a 10-day Vipassana meditation retreat, but unfortunately I had to cancel a week before, because of previous injuries assocatiated with breaking my leg as a child, flared up again. I now am sitting comfortably in a chair and so appreciate these teachings.. As a child around the age of 6 years my father started reading Lobsang Rampa books, and also practiced levitating above his human body. I was totally fascinated with all the stories he used to tell me.. He was supposed to test my spelling, but instead he chose to teach me spiritual and out of the ordinary things. LOL... So happy to have found your channel. 🙏

I have been facing lots of troubles because of my thinking. I would always be scared of someone doing something wrong to me. I don't know why it feels like it. But recently, as I understand the nature of my mind, the way it gets affected by people around me, the importance I give to their varying opinions, the way I try to convince something to myself, I realized everything is just modification to that eternal peace inside.
What a gift . I so relate! A really neat thing just happened, watching this video. At a certain point, I paused the video for a moment, and as I was looking out from my back deck, everything I saw seemed to stand out more clearly. It was like all was now in focus. 3D suddenly became 3D-er for some reason! That I noticed was a "wow" moment for me. Thank you for helping us experience new awakenings!

Trying to live in present, never thought of the past and future, weighing us down, I know past trauma memories, completely drain me. I live a naturalist lifestyle, as can be in the city. Reconnection, growing a garden has brought a joy, into my life, never felt before! I feel a purpose nurturing, nature, that has been given to us! Love & Peace!

I'm learning so much and trying to be mindful and in the present moment but it's hard when life's daily struggles seem to pull me away. I just need to learn to let go of certain behaviours and past (traumas???) and move on. Thank you for being the voice of reason for so many of us struggling. We are truely blessed.
Releasing the energies of struggle and suffering will be quite beneficial. Come into alignment with the POWERFUL CREATOR that you are as YOU JOYFULLY and GRATEFULLY realize the AMAZING BLESSINGS that YOU are calling forth on YOUR PRECIOUS JOURNEY .

No, please do not just let them go. You have to understand them, fight, & reconcile with them. And it's still possible a closed wound may reopen. But by just letting go, without the work, is dangerous. It can lead to delusion and an untrue bliss that will come down hard on you when you realize you've never healed. I truly hope for all the best for you. Remember spirituality is not about always being in a state of positivity or bliss. Nor is it about locking away your pain. True Spirit is what gives us the strength to stay and survive in between the times of pure joy ✨💗
Also, seek a mental health specialist. Never rely on spirituality alone.
