No man should be this attractive. That's too much power.
The very first thing I thought about this guy is how did a dude that looks so busted get a lead role in a film with all these super famous people? Then I realized he was actually much more famous I'd just never heard of him haha. Love pretty much any movie with this dude though.
@@Aus10McNeal ikr?? He is very famous but I didn't even know who he was.
That's why he's wearing that ugly sweater, it dampens the effects
@@Aus10McNeal I’m confused. Are you calling him ugly?
@@Aus10McNeal He looks busted to you??
What a man… he’s not just physically attractive but he’s smart and nerdy and funny and charming… he should not exist. No one can be this perfect.
AND he can sing
@@tessa5233 and play guitar. And he can dance!
@tessa and he can draw
He’s just so perfect
@@tessa5233 yes!! I listen to the Inside Llewyn Davis soundtrack on an extremely regular basis. I adore Fare Thee Well. That song is seared into my soul! My essence! My DNA!
… Im also a big fan of supernatural and later on in the series, as an episode was ending, a character (… God) is performing in a bar and I still remember watching it the night it aired and with the very first strum he makes on the guitar I froze and my heart stopped. On the second strum I literally yelped and jumped off my couch. He was playing Fare Thee Well and it was probably one of the most happily shocking moments in my life. I stood in front of the tv basically flailing like a nutcase. It’s one of my favorite, favorite movies and I only have one good friend who’s seen it (well two now… i forced another to watch it last year) and it’s super rare that I meet anyone who has seen it so to have this tv show Im obsessed with make an overt reference like that was truly so weirdly validating?
Just started watching Moon Knight. Still haven't changed my mind that Oscar Isaac is the single greatest talent of his generation. I cannot detect any ego in his acting. There is no 'Oscar Isaac' in his characters the way there is 'RDJ' in Tony Stark or 'Anthony Hopkins' in Odin. He just becomes his characters so effortlessly and flawlessly.
I love the show and I think Oscar is perfect casting for the character but the script needs to be more comic accurate
@@grandcanyon-fu9zt Not everything needs to be comic accurate. Steven Grant was actually a playboy millionaire but they changed it to make it more grounded.
You’ve explained why I don’t like many actors and movies well. So many get away with playing themselves and many don’t seem to try frequently.
@@mandeep3.14 Ryan Reynolds is the only exception
Tbh I feel like it’s difficult to determine whether actors/actresses are being themselves in movies or not. I’m young and I don’t know what famous actors did in the past and I don’t watch interviews unless I’m interested in the celebrities
But I wonder sometimes if we can say actors/celebrities are being themselves in movies or are they just being the same character in every movie?
I’m not disagreeing with anyone here btw just asking and stating my thoughts
PS: Oscar Isaac’s acting IS amazing
He looks like he loves what he does and he’s such a versatile actor. Plus he’s a snack and that helps too
The Enchanted Lau HAHHAHA MOOD
Such a snack lol
Brandi Torres the snackiest snack

John Botelho a light meal
Oscar Isaac, the only person who had a worse time with X-Men: Apocalypse than the people who watched it

@@ADunc10 bruhhh...
@@ADunc10 Just some role in the future (though Inside Llewyn Davis is the closest he's gotten).
Excuse me while I Photoshop that in my head. lol
They deserve each other.
I love how he didn't fake compliment Apocalypse.
He did a good job focusing on the experiences and not give his opinion of the movies themselves. The Last Jedi too.
He didn't sleight it either he said nothing about the film itself he just said he regretted the role due to the prosthetics not cos he didn't like the film, he was working with McAvoy and Fassbender.
I loved Apocalypse and I liked J-Law in it... The hate is just too high....
@BlackSH0veldeath I really didn't mind it. I thought the story was pretty cool.
@BlackSH0veldeath i love that movie and the fact that he is in it, makes it one of mu favs
The X-Men: Apocalypse segment is pure gold.
I'm glad he was honest, that whole production seemed miserable lol
thats sad they didn't even do apocalypse justice and oscar looked strange as him. proabably why it seemed so forced too. they should consult cosplayers for big costumes.
@@nak3dxsnake They might as well just put Oscar in a motion capture suit on a soundstage.
LEEEAAARRRNINGGG
tastyneck I laughed soooo hard, did you see Eddie Redmayne’s segment with the film he hated?? I think it was Juniper Rising or something
His sweater goes hard 👌
Giovanni Zapata anyone know where to get it?
Ikr
It made me hard
No idea but I want it!
It’s gosha and will run u up by the thousands
Isaac for me, belongs in the grouping of actors who I could just cast in any role alongside Robert Pattinson, Dev Patel, Cate Blanchett, Sam Jackson or Michael Fassbender. Like I could see him as Indiana Jones, Gomez Addams, Harvey Dent, a gangster, a caring father, a drug addict, a cocky boxer or a comedic sidekick. The man has crazy range.
Yeah. Really awesome, just wish people would give him more credit
Even funnier when you consider that he HAS played Gomez Addams in the animated Addams Family films 😂 They should definitely consider him for the role if they decide to go live action yet again
Oscar could've been a good Apocalypse had he had a good script
Agree
That's what being a character actor is
He’s one of those people that have such a nice talking voice and you just wanna listen to him talk all day
I’m so excited Poe didn’t end up being killed off , he’s my favorite character
Poe is my favorite, too! I love him!
Mine too, ppl can say what they want about the Sequels but my Pilot Boy had one of the best story arcs and cheered on him all through!!
I can't believe that he singlehandedly kept poe dameron alive, what a legend
Oscar Isaac makes me feel some type of way
he really do
It’s only been 3 and a half years and we already need another one. Oscar Isaac is on fire
fr!!
He looks so different with short hair and a beard, it’s crazy how drastically different he looks with two little changes
I love his bedroom eyes, that voice, and those gorgeous curls. And, Oscar Isaac is a wonderful multidimensional actor - hero and villain in one. I have seen Annihilation at least ten times. Can't get enough of him.
His eyes are so warm and inviting and he's got a talent for picking cozy sweaters I would love to fall asleep on.
"so that was...X-Men apocalypse." His awkward smile. His silence. I couldn't help but laugh
Oscar Isaac is one of the most talented modern day actors. Up there w Leo, Gyllenhaal, Gosling etc.
Definitely better than Leo.
He is great but no where near those 3, sorry!
Gyllenhaal is the best out of those, but none are close to Joaquin Phoenix.

If you haven't seen Inside Llewyn Davis, I envy you, as you now get to go watch Inside Llewyn Davis for the first time.
Patrick Daly brilliant movie indeed
Ima do that right now because of all the recommendations in this comment section. Never heard of the movie and don’t know what it’s about.
did you like it nick?
the way he sings and plays is unreal. can't believe he is that talented.
Or drive.. every one should watch drive!
"How to fall in love in just 14 minutes". Written, directed and performed by Oscar Isaac.
So glad he got his big break. After the scene in the cabin in Bourne Legacy I thought this guy is special and had to look him up. Same thing for Tom Hardy in Inception.
OMG, I remember that scene too! He was literally in the movie for only five minutes and I remember thinking "Seriously, I'd rather watch an entire movie about THAT guy, screw everyone else." That's when I knew I was looking at a star and am so, so glad that he's made it. Anyone who able to imbue such a small part with a memorable character is always A+ in my book.
‘You’ve got to dream bigger, darling’ i couldn’t stand how amazing he was. He was such an excellent contrast to JGL’s character and really helped sell the movie.
You need to watch Bronson. I think that’s the movie Tom Hardy really shows his acting skills. Amazing movie.
I didn't even realise he was in a Bourne film that's how good this guy clearly is at disappearing into his roles. Mark of the pro.
@@pedromolina9558 He was respected by big directors even in the 2000s.
Layer cake and Rocknrolla were cool roles for him even though he was outshined
Sucks that the writers had no idea what to do with Poe after force awakens
facts
Well to be fair he was originally intended to die when he and Finn crashed on Jakku, but Oscar convinced J.J. to let him live.

Thank you for featuring interesting actors who don’t get enough appreciation!
Yeh he is fairly unsung isn't he considering how good he is at what he does.
So you're telling me they legitimately were gonna kill Poe off and now he's a favourite character i-
I would love to listen to him talk for hours about each of his roles and his experiences. Such a well-rounded actor. I'm excited to see where he goes next!
I feel like he can be a really good director one day.
"Apocalypse, that was excruciating"
I fully agree, though for different reasons.
Such a diverse actor. It's one of those situations where he has such a recognizable voice, so when he speaks in a part, you expect him to be the same guy as usual, but then he surprises you. For me personally, that's one of my favorite things about good acting.
Annihilation is so underrated. SUCH a good movie.
Kay Dlg it was a nice film
No it's not
mkinvincible bye
And it was mostly all female cast that got no recognition with media
Caught Annihilation at the end of its theatrical run, so glad I did. Awesome flick.
why is he the most charismatic man in the whole world
this one of the most underrated actors
As a Guatemateca, I am proud to see an attractive, talented and admired Guatemalan! We need more representation in film.
I love that we have a Latino trifecta in Star Wars tho, Oscar Isaac (Poe Dameron), Pedro Pascal (The Mandalorian) and Diego Luna (Cassian Andor).
Ex Machina and Annihilation are incredible. Him and Garland need to do every movie together.
YOU CANNOT PUT THE MOST ICONIC FINNPOE MOMENT IN THERE AND NOT EXPECT ME TO CRUMBLE INTO DUST
your pfp is beyond cursed yet it is blessing my eyes
You can tell he loves what he does, he talks with such sentimentality and conviction. Also ex machina was brilliant.
He’s a fantastic storyteller!! And he has such an engaging, but soft, delivery with a cognac voice.
One of our Latino treasures. Protect him at all costs.
He's so great. Definitely one of those I watch all his movies
His passive-aggressiveness in Ex Machina was something else. The fact that he was pointedly physically tougher than Domnhall Gleeson's character just added to the tension.
Hes straight up the best actor of his generation imo
i’m checking these as i watch them so, gonna leave this here to make it easier for me and in case someone else is interested as to avoid spoilers:
0:18 Drive
2:07 Inside Llewyn Davis
4:34 A Most Violent Year
6:04 Ex Machina
8:36 Star Wars The Force Awakens
10:28 Star Wars The Last Jedi
11:39 X-Men Apocalypse
12:56 Annihilation
This guy looks super cool with a beard.
He looks cool no matter how he looks. It's kind of irritating 😂
How dare he look cool all the time it’s so unfair!
Imma tear up this dance floor, dude check it out.
Zhello favorite line 😂😂😂
Zhello nice reference 😂
😂 seriously, best scene in the entire movie!
COME ON CALEB!!!
I like how down to earth and pleasant Oscar is. Great actor and seems like a good dude.
I like how it said “his most iconic roles” but leaves out “the nativity story” where his most iconic role was him playing Joseph
They should get Tom Hardy,, Fassbender or Joaquin Phoenix for one of these
Emi Grant Joaquin Pheonix!!!!!
Yes Joaquin would be awesome!
Fassy B. yaaaaassssss
We need Joaquin!
Yeh less of the fame hunters and more of the serious professionals that make film more than popcorn chomping coke guzzling disposable theatre.
I love this man and how simultaneously passionate and chill he is.
I also like that rather than addressing the consternation in the fan base about Last Jedi (which I love unconditionally by the way) he just makes known his love for Rian Johnson. And is totally able to bring up his problems with being in X-Men Apocalypse in a really hilarious way.
What a great guy!
I liked how he described Rian Johnson in a jazz singing way. It was adorable.
Wait wait wait, the Ex-Machina guy is the pilot guy in Star Wars... AND Apocalypse?
Whaaaaaaaa?
Funny, both Poe and General Hux are in Ex Machina.
Yeah, it's not just the beard , as an actor he is a bit of a chameleon .

Yeah lol. I guess he could easily disguise himself with a full beard
@@adrienne1958l nah, he likes money
Annihilation is one of the most surprising and excellent sci-fi experiences I’ve ever had. There needs to be more of this kind of confident but highly unusual sci-fi made and made with the caliber of actors like Isaac here and the rest of the cast. Annihilation was stunning.
Another great performance by him fans of his should check out is the 2015 HBO miniseries "Show Me a Hero"
His looks and mannerisms remind me a lot of Al Pacino. He's a great actor, too - definitely one of this generation's best.
If only they waited a few years, we could've gotten him explaining dune and moon knight
They can always do a new interview, I suppose
I can totally see him as timothee chalamet's dad in Dune, they speak really similar, and also seems like they talk with their hands.
I'm an old fan.... I loved him in THE NAVITITY. His vulnerability playing JOSEPH, brought me to tears. 😢
I love his performance in Sucker Punch! Real shame he didn't talk about it here, that was the one I was hoping for the most!
Oscar Isaac seems like such a genuine guy I'd love to just have a chance to sit down and talk with him he just feels so authentic
Oscar is awesome and he’s on such a role! Poe Dameron, Moon Knight, 2099 Spider-Man, Snake, Triple Frontier he’s one of the best actors out there now.
Inside Llewyn Davis. A really good (if somewhat depressing) movie. But he is so great in it--the acting, the singing, the guitar playing, everything is perfect.
Carey Mulligan was fantastic, as well.
It needed more Stark Sands...so I am waiting for that Troy Nelson Spin-off
It's funny because if you're depressed, it's an oddly uplifting movie. EDIT: I think cosy melancholic movies do wonders for people with depressive mentalities.
These really are the best things your channel does. Keep em coming.
That sweater makes me wanna hug him
Drive was such an underrated movie that he was in

Not the best part but I loved his role. Directors cut was better as always with Snyder movies.
LOL wut
Taylor Brown YES I literally clicked on the vid in hopes he talked about sucker punch

You forgot Carla Gugino, but yes, go on.
My favorite performance by Oscar Isaac was as Joseph in The Nativity Story. The movie was good in general other than the wise men showing up way too early. 😅 But seriously, Oscar nailed the part of Joseph perfectly especially during the emotion he had to act out when he discovered that Mary was pregnant and it was not his.
Very much agree with you. I really believed the emotiin of the film and when I watch him in it you can see the flx he goes through befire the reveal, during, and after. Everyone worked well off each other but he was perfect. Its a shame they didn't discuss it here.
If there ever is a Scarface remake it should be Oscar Isaac
OMG, yes!!
He was great in Ex-Machina, the movie in general was great
Love seeing a Guatemalan doing great for himself. His bigger movies are yet to come.
His excitement for X-Men: Apocalypse really fits the movie
I only just knew him, well at least recognized him more, with marvel's latest series "moon knight", and now i can't get my eyes off him 😍😭. Sir Isaac why are u doing this to me 😭.
great roles but he seems like someone who's about to knock it out the park with a big movie coming around the corner. he can ACT.
he's gorgeous in like every way possible
his performance in Show Me a Hero was heartbreaking. such a great actor
Such a brilliant actor. I'll watch anything he is in. A Most Violent Year is really impressive. Not what you think. And it was good to hear him describe his experience on X-Men so honestly. What a horrible slog that must have been.
Love the Coen Brothers story, that was certainly the film that made me notice his enormous talent.
No one I know likes Inside Llewyn Davis and it makes me sad for them... Its so good
What an amazing actor.
Such intelligent, witheld physicality and vocal choices.
I love Inside Llewyn Davis so much.
So, I've seen him in both Annihilation and Dune, but somehow had no idea what he looked like until Moon Knight so I don't remember him in those roles lol. I'm so glad I made the decision to go back to watch his other stuff (maybe even Star Wars for the first time) because I'm just blown away by his acting chops.
Most Violent Year is AMAZING!!
I can’t wait to watch Oscar Isaac play my most favorite marvel superhero Moon Knight.
What did you think of the series?
it sounds like the process of putting on the costume of apocalypse was about as painful as watching the movie in general.
I’d love to see his interpretation of Batman / Bruce Wayne ...
Never even thought of that! Would be so cool to see.
Good call, he'd probably make a better villain with his talent, might be a bit wasted just playing Batman.
he can bring a lot of dark intensity, intelligence, and also a lot of lightness to a role. there are moments in _the last jedi_ where he looks very superman-esque. he's a very versatile actor, but he's like 5'8". he wouldn't be a very formidable physical presence in the face of criminals
