New Hogan Lake / Red Hot Striper bites/ 2024

Out fishing in New Hogan Lake, targeting stripers. We had a great time out on the boat fishing for them. we have tried line stripping flies, jerkbait, topwater, and at the end anchovies seems to be the ticket to catch them. Till then, Tight lines..

Damn I wanna get out there and get some stripers. Here's an idea for you bro instead of using aluminum foil on your lantern just aluminum soda can. Just cut off the top and bottom of the can and put it on your lantern

Fly core tip, don’t strip until you mark fish. It’ll save you from overworking the fly. 😂
