Great job for your first trip out in new water!!!! Next time you fish the bay and ice your fish down, pour some of that salty bay water in your cooler and make a salt water slurry. Keeps the fish almost frozen and makes them easier to fillet. Also, try washing your boat, motor and trailer down with some salt away. Helps remove the salt beyond just freshwater flushing Once again…. Great job!!!!!

Get your boat down around Sherman Lake and Broad Slough. Take some live bluegill and drift them 2’ off the bottom with your electric trolling motor while you’re throwing 6” Storm Wild Eye swim baits (Mullet), Glide Baits or Pointer Minnows towards the tule banks. Thank me later…

Nice Haul of Fish. You caught enough ling cods for yourself and 3 others. On the first ling when you put your hand near the mouth I was like they got some mean teeth. My first time fishing for lings the captain said "They have teeth and will bite you, and we will continue to fish". Gotta keep those lings under the surface or you risk losing them at the surface. You actually had your limit of rockfish but you threw one back and one went under the rail when you slid the large yellow rockfish to the corner. Why didn't they have you using a gunny sack or poly bag for your rockfish? They have them at the store and the price is double on the boat. Looked like you had a lot of space on the boat. The crew seemed kind of slow or occupied when it came time to landing the fish. I like Berkeley over Emeryville. Especially when you have to pay to park at Emeryville. I've gone out on the California Dawn and Happy Hooker. I like just looking at the pictures that the California Dawn and California Dawn II post to their Facebook page.

Great video man. It was enjoyable to watch. Them blacktail deer can be quite the challenge to hunt. Im hunting the D Zone as well and only encountered one 2x2 which was to far for the bow.

S wavers don't really attract attention in ar.... Jerkbait paddle tails and live bait works best Yes...I had fish take my Jerkbait too...always check your lines and tie new knots after fighting a fish

Never fish AR. Been wanting to fish but I heard that there are certain area that you need to use Barbless hook. Do you have to use barbless on AR?
