According to Apple the operation temp should be b/w 10 to 35 degrees...will it cause some damage if we do not adhere to this?
For shorter durations of time then it wonât affect much, but still avoid it. And for a longer duration of time under which the MacBook faces such temperatures then it will cause a damage for sure.

If you need a computer right now then go for it. M2 wouldnât have much of a drastic increase in performance with respect to M1. Yes switching from Intel to Apple silicone had generational change which led to a huge jump in performance and efficiency. The only reason to wait for M2 is for a design refresh in the MacBook Air đ€©

I had that doubt as well while buying it last month but I needed a computer immediately and after doing some research on Appleâs track record in the past regarding their price drops and product release dates. This is what I feel.
Right now a M1 MacBook Air costs 1000$ and the next offering from Apple If we ignore the MacBook Pro M1 is at 2000$ which is the 14inch MacBook Pro M1 pro .
This is a huge price gap and apple has nothing to offer in this price bracket of 1000 to 2000 dollars.
My prediction is that apple will continue to sell the MacBook Air M1 for 1000$ due to its old design and success and release the M2 with a fresh design for 1300 or 1500dollars.
And when M3 comes that time apple will finally discontinue this MacBook Air M1 and itâs design.
So in short chances for a price drop on M1 are slim. đ

Hi Navy I am confused between macbook air M1 or windows laptop in that same price range as I am getting 16gb ram on windows machine. I am not sure if 8 gb ram will be enough or not, I will be using it for software development purpose and devops related work. Kindly help.
The 8gb ram on these MacBooks especially the base model M1 MacBook Air is really quick and fast.
8Gb of ram on these Apple silicon is comparable to 16gb of ram on windows!
Apple has really fast unified ram modules and itâs a class apart technology!
So you should be fine with the m1 MacBook Air and also if you end up using the 8gigs of ram the computer starts using swap memory by using main ssd as the ram and those ssd speeds are plenty fast!
Much faster than any windows machine in that price range.
Also see computers as an over package, you might get 16gigs of ram in windows counter parts but there must be some other con like poor screen resolution or not so good build quality.
There are many more things to a computer than the cpu and ram.
Things like trackpad, speakers, screen, build quality etc are actually more important than performance!
So as an over package the m1 stills makes plenty of sense!
Itâs the most value for money mac ever manufactured and probably the greatest machines of all time in the entire computing industry.

As that model is a custom model, I doubt you can find it easily in offline stores.
The only way is that you have to order it online from Apple store and use student discount over there and gst return.
