I meant to get this out sooner, but the plans took longer than I hoped. Nonetheless, they are here gum.co/ujmNv
I think I will paint the cabinets grey, but first, I want to add some more storage to things out of sight.
Shout-out
Your cabinets look great the way they are. Why paint pretty wood?
Hi Glenn, I think one key thing you should do to your garage to give it even a more pop look is to epoxy your garage floors with sprinkles. Having your floors epoxied really gives the garage a clean and pro look too.
I advise you to make a bike stand or platform in front of the door instead of being scattered and taking up space ... Wonderful work Pro
Very good luck.
Love the “where i’m at” pop up diagrams, very helpful!
No, you did not get lucky with the cabinet height. You have skills.
Agreed, but what was plan B in the off chance it wasn't level?
No its 100% luck with things like this to do it first try no matter how many decades experience. That is why people have engineered adjustable feet. Engineering and craftsmanship isnt about perfection, its about allowing for tuning for the inevitable imperfections.
"As far as I'm concerned, this is allowed." - Every builder everywhere
One of the most if not THE MOST organized garage(s) I have seen that actually houses A LOT of tools, especially the infamous table saw. Often times my wife sees inside of many garages where, tools just overtake the use of the garage beyond parking a vehicle. Here you show us how we can park our vehicles inside and STILL have all out tools to DIY. Thanks!
Sure thing, thanks!
Glenn, I really love the way you have the small inset in the corner showing "this is where I am at right now" Super helpful, keeps me up to speed. I wish more creators would do this. THANKS from Portugal
That 'Where I'm At' feature is fire, man.
Loved this.. as somone whos in the motor trade and never tried my hand ar joinery, I love watching builds like this.
Inspired me .
Oh, im literally starting from scratch with everything from woodworking to getting the basic tools. I like how you laid them all out in your video description. I think i will use your tools list as a basis for getting started bc trying to figure it out any other way just gets overwhelming. Again, thank you SO Much for helping me find a starting point for how to go about setting up my workspace. Love your video! ❤
I really like the "where I am at" graphic, it helps me understand why things look a certain way at that point
The grammarian in me cringes. I don’t ever say anything usually but ... “Where I Am” would be better.
love how you explain everything in your videos. If you have such a well-equipped workshop with so many tools, it is easy to make these projects. It is more of a semi-professional carpenter than DIY.
I love the “this is where am at” image on the top right.
This is exactly what I need for my garage! I like the idea of a moving table/storage in the middle. I'd add one more thing to the middle a french cleat hanging system for quick access tools. Thanks for the inspiration, and great job as always.
awesome build, I really like how you add the icon showing where you are in build.
I like the icon, but the phrase "Where I am AT" seems very crude for a polished gentleman like you.
@@rcollinge5818 it's his flavour and the way he talks, don't think he's trying to be overly 'polished'
This all of this! Yes this is a great addition. Keep rockin it out man like the shop build
Hey, thanks!
Love your work, your truly talented and a inspiration! My wife treated me to a 12” sliding miter saw for my birthday and one step closer to my carpentry needs.
I think the slickest bike storage I ever saw was in the shop of a guy who was a SERIOUS collector of vintage road bikes. He used the curved tracks for an overhead garage door and hung his bikes from a rod connecting pairs of wheels. He had about 35 bikes stored that way, in a fairly small footprint.
You could add a bike storage section, a place to hang up the bikes and store the bike equipment like helmets. Also a gardening hand tool section, fir your yard brushes and rakes. That way they are tidy and away but that you can get at them for those small jobs easily.
Awesome tool storage! I plan to do something similar, putting peg board at the back because I have so many hand tools and using the top of the tool cabinet as a small work bench. The underneath of the shelf is a great place for a 2-foot or maybe 4-foot LED light fixture and it's convenient you have an electrical outlet right there. Nice way to put that space to use!
Good video. I like the "Where I am at" picture. It helps me to follow where you are and visualize what is happening. When you measure correctly and know what you're doing stuff line up like it should. I agree with the others, hang the bikes from the ceiling or on a rack on the wall 💕🌱
Glen you remain a star for all of us DIY'ers. Your attitude and tips on working alone are things we should aspire to include in our activities. Thanks so much!!
Thanks Larry!
Thanks for sharing your skill and attention to detail. As a beginner, it's much appreciated. The storage is very sturdy, well made and efficient. I can see that you can store so many items neatly with this setup. Excellent work!
I am always inspired to make stuff when I watch your videos. I am looking to make some shelving and storage in my garage/shop and this has given me some really great ideas.
Love the "Where I'm at" feature.
Never thought of getting on top of my bench instead of bring the work down, then back up again.
For me, it a relief to watch you build with just enough pocket screws and glue. No over kill, no over engineering, just great elegant builds. I think it is great designing and execution.
I know NOTHING about carpentry but your videos and EXCEPTIONAL. Your knowledge of the material and video production are TOP NOTCH . THank you!
French Cleat wall would give you tons of off ground storage options for what's left in your garage. Could easily hang those bikes and other lawn tools without issue.
I was so inspired by the first cabinet that I have built one for my garage/workshop. This addition is awesome, I think it got to be add to mine. Bob at I like to make stuff has a great bike rack that would be good. Thank you for posting brilliant videos, the where I'm at is very helpful.
I like how you do the "where I'm at" I know it takes extra work and overlay, much appreciated! Keep up the work. I'm a solo operator too of our retail and farming, it's got its pros and cons. Keep chasing your passions either way! Build a compressor house with foam sheets to dampen the noise.
Oh are such a practical and skilled craftsman! This is such a great project. I really like that you take time to point out that simple modifications can be made to this to customize the build. I’m never disappointed with your videos!!
I am SO jealous of your collection of tools. Husky definitely lucked out in partnering with you. You've got the mad skills to show off what can be done with them!
Glen, your timing is impeccable! Gearing up to renovate my garage workshop and love your ideas!
Wow, what a difference! So organized!
I absolutely LOVE that "Where I Am At" graphic. Great idea!
I just want to say I REALLY like the "Where I am at" graphic you used. Very helpful to follow along.
I appreciate that you demonstrate that you can operate, and film video, with your table saw guard in place!
Just want to say your 1 of the best wood works I've seen in a long time.
I just moved into my new house and I'm inspired by your work, I'm going to redo my garage
Thanks for the videos
God bless Thanks.
Well I just started watching your videos. Thank you so much for sharing your skills. You are really helping me out.
I've been wood working for several years now. I don't usually build what you do, but I love watching your videos, at the very least I learn things from you to make things easier. Thank you for your videos and insight.
Respect! Much appreciated.
First-time watcher, and I really love your "where I am at" icon at the top of the video. Really great work
Nothing new to say that hasn't been said before, so I'll just repeat others, brilliant job and I especially love the "Where I am at" feature.
Another GREAT Video !!! Thank you . . . I really enjoy the the way you explain these......super job. Yes, it does take a lot of time to not just do the project but even longer to do the film editing. I want to say thank you for putting all the time and effort into these to share with all of us. 👏👏👏
Always love your projects. Excited to see your opinion on the paint set. I've been apprehensive to buy one without knowing what to get.
You go with a vertical storage for the bikes on the all...gets them off the floor and out of the way :) even a simple family bench and cubby organizer with bench for if the family needs to take on and off skates and the like - could do a ball storage down the left side of that...gotta teach them to put all the things away to keep it neat and organized :)
Watched the videos on this build while looking for ideas for my Garage. Great work on this! Good explaining what your doing while keeping the process simple enough for new builders. I’ll check out your videos and watch for new ones.
Wow! Nice cabinets! I need to do this in my shop. Thanks!
Beautiful cabinets!
You are definitely a skilled carpenter and a rare breed nowadays. You are truly gifted and talented. Many blessings to you my friend and may you thrive.
Fantastic build! I really appreciate the way that you break it down, so it seems a little less daunting for someone like myself with a more amateur skill set. I'm not afraid to make a few mistakes in order to learn.
Thanks, Glad I could help!
Wow - found your site a while back but today was the first time I dug into your work. Thanks!
Build things and inspire you to make. This guy is one of the nicest dudes here on youtube.
WOW! Thanks for the inspiration. You make me feel like .. 'maybe I CAN do this..' 👍❤
Nice. Benefit to making your own rather than buying the ones prefabricated from Lowe’s or Home Depot, is you get to put however many shelves you want and how ever many drawers you want. This is amazing! Love it ❤️
Yes, exactly, I like the flexibility!
You're absolutely awesome. I like your precision and your respect to the materials you use. You also have brilliant tools - but they alone would not make much sense without your eager preofessionalism. Congratulations!
I always enjoy your project builds!! Thank you!!!
Thanks for all the content, your channel has empowered me to make several projects with confidence. I really enjoy your channel.
Nice design. I recommend Gladiator GearWall for that minimalist look to hang the bikes, etc. I have it and love it. Super clean.
Awesome work!! Here's an idea for you -- hang the bikes from the ceiling on hooks. That saved me quite a bit of floor space.
Great job love those cabinets.
Great job! Looking forward to seeing how you handle the rest o the stuff.
Great job! Super functional, clean look, gonna do the same for my garage. Well done!
Stellar build man, this is exactly what I want to build in my garage one day soon. Thanks for the run-through. Looks awesome!
Looks awesome. Looking for ideas on how to organize my garage and I think this is what I'm leaning to.
You do some awesome work, I enjoy watching and learning from your videos. I love how show where you're at in your build and step by step instructions👍

You sir are a massive inspiration!
Your work is fantastic. You are an inspiration for me. Well done
3:45 The "Where I AM AT" overlay, Please keep that for future videos. Sooo helpful!
Great video like always! Some ideas for organizing would be hanging garage shelves over the loose items @14:21 . Another idea would be hanging bike racks.
Gracias por tus videos, muy educativo, gracias
I seen it in the comments already but for emphasis, that "where I'm at" is brilliant.
It's always a pleasure to watch your work. You have a talent for presentation and every month you keep getting better and better.
Your videos always inspired me..Thx.
I always enjoy your videos. I find the "where am I" inset helpful.
I knew there was something missing in my life and now I know it was this channel. THANK YOU SOOOOO F’N MUCH MAN !!!! Keep it up, you are horrendously talented. Be safe, wear a mask 😷
Great build. I like that you make some mistakes and correct them. That's how us every day people do it. Very real. Thanks

I get lucky with cabinet height. You have skills! Thanks for the video. I’m doing a similar design in our master bedroom closet
OMG! Gorgeous! You - and the cabinets.
Thank you! 😊
Spending my Friday Night watching all your videos. Love it. Great work!
Good build thanks for the inspiration
I like your work and presentation man, you r smart and a intelligent master
I appreciate that!
Very good it looks wonderful.
GReat build - Enjoy watching what you build!
The Woodshop Junkies channel from South Africa is getting really good at finding creative ways to get the most out of a limited garage/workshop space. You might want to check out his ideas. Also, Fix This Build That channel has some other cabinetry ideas as well. Looks like you need to buy some bike hangers to hand those bicycles along the wall. This Old House and other channels have ideas for fold-down workbenches that can be mounted on the wall.
I really enjoy watching your builds. One thing I would alter on this is the shelf between the cabinets. The weight of whatever is stored on top will be born by the screws attaching to the cabinets and the screws into the studs of the wall. The shelf would be able to support more weight and be less likely to end up having screws pull from the wood if the connecting shelf were longer, resting on top of the vertical boards of the cabinets.
Very nice , looks great .
Your skills and organizational skills are top notch!! Goals!!
Dream workshop great job so far
Your a very creative artists.Excellent tutorial videos.Thanks for sharing.GBY!
