The Corporate Affairs Commission on has directed all PoS agent and operators in the country to register their businesses and the deadline for registration has been set at July 7, 2024.

According to them, the directive is targeted at safeguarding businesses and is backed up by law, Section 863, Subsection 1 of the Companies and Allied Matters Act, CAMA 2020, and the 2013 CBN guidelines on agent banking.
To even ensure a smooth exercise and to show seriousness, the corporate affairs commission have even set up registration centers in Abuja for bulk registering.
To do the POS business registration cost some money but it costs more when you contract the services of an Accredited agent. But to reduce cost significantly, you can do CAC POS business name registration by yourself without an Accredited Agent.

@@Baddest_Importer try using the "Resend Email" button again to get the verification link sent to your email. Someone just did hers early this morning and it worked.

the problem i am facing now is that i'm unable to login to dashboard even after assuring all the necessary information i used i mean my password. i even forgot the password to reset it but still the same. please help me out here.
Input your username and click on "submit" as if you want to login. On the following page, tap "click here" just near "forgot password?"
Tap on the Email section, input your email and click "Reset Password".
Head to your email and click the link sent to your email. Input a new password and confirm.

Am having an issue with email act link. They didn't send it for me to confirm mail. Now i cant log in and I can not still reregister the same details . It's saying nin n phone number already taken
On the login section, beneath where you input your username, you will see "Resend Email"
Click on it and input your email, they will send your the verification link.
Go to your mail and click on the link sent.
I had similar problem and I tried your suggestions it keep saying internal error

@@dianaokpe1666 login, on the left, you will see your username, tap on it. On the next page, you will see the box for your dob. Change it to preferred date. Then click save at the bottom.
I paid for reservations but it's still showing not submitted
Try tapping/clicking on the number in the "not submitted" part. It will take you to another page where you can complete the application.

My name reservation was approved and I did not key in the availability code before I commence the business registration.
At the point of payment, I saw ₦35,000 as total package for the registration fees. The break down include: Registration of Business Name: ₦10,000 and 1Request -Restricted Address: ₦25,000
Total :₦35,000:00
Please, what is the cause, & solution?
I have tried all means to edit the business proprietor addess to align with the business address location, am unable to edit it. Is there a way out edit it?
Thanks for your favourable response.
1. It's not possible to not input availability code before commencing registration.
2. The 25k is a request you made and thus optional. If you have not submitted the application, you can edit it to not include that request of restricted address.
3. To edit address is somewhat complicated now on the CAC portal. I think the site has issues. Lastly, if you have not paid for the business registration, it means you have not yet submitted the application. Hence, you can just go back and start the registration afresh using your availability code.
4. Be careful to fill in the right info if and when you decide to start the registration afresh. It will save you a reoccurrence of all these brouhaha.
In the first place, when I check my email box and I saw the message for approval, and the instructions say I should click on the link to login to my account, I did and I was redirected to my account page, where I saw start registration, I clicked on it, and then continue till payment section where I encountered the issue.
I did not make any special request at all now. May be I used Institute of Church and Society as business address in place of normal house address.
I have tried several times to start afresh with availability code, it will allow the code, the business details them stop there. With the message "error 404 the page you request is not found"
