Writing or praying to a deceased to pray for you - how is that not Shutfus? HaShem is One and only and there is non beside Him. If one writes a letter to a deceased, I can't see how can this be anything else than avoda zara. If the letter is written clearly to HaShem "HaShem, I am asking you to help me..." as Rabbi had explained then clearly the letter is not directed to the deceased which makes sense but I can't see any other answer than avoda zara if one were to write a letter directed to the deceased.
Shalom. On the festival of Purim you should only drink a bit more than you usually do. If you drink to the point where you are no longer in control like puking then you should most certainly not drink on Purim. This is because it is never allowed not to be in control in Judaism. It is also forbidden for an Alcoholic to drink on Purim in the Strongest sense.
