We all know Sarah's a phenomenal singer, but she's just as good an actress. With just a glance, she shows you the depth of all her character's emotions.
Lions gate did this film a great disservice, practically dooming it to failure with poor promotion and ridiculously limited release. Such a shame; it's an amazing film.
With Bouseman doing the new saw film, maybe they will do repo 2

@@TheOperaticChick You are! I avoided seeing it for years because I don't like the Saw franchise. I am so glad I finally watched it anyway, and now all I can think is, why didn't I watch this a long time ago?
@@mybraineatseverything7404 hey thanks for responding :) I have never liked the saw movies either but could get into repo the genetic opera. Wasn't aware that this movie even existed until I pleasantly stumbled across this little gem. Watched a few of its music videos and I'm kinda hooked. If you say that it is a movie worth watching, then I'll gladly give it a chance. Thanks again my friend x

I never thought she would perform in a movie like this but I am so glad she did. Her acting was superb and I wish she had done more musicals. But I am glad I have this.
This scene is haunting. Even in that movie, it stands out.
This is the best part!! You should watch the movie. If not for anything, for this part and for the "Graverobber" scenes.
The parts with grave robber and blind mag are the best parts of the movie Sarah brightman has been my idea since I was born she was the first singer my mom showed me abs so when this movie came out we went to see it

I first saw this when I was 19 and I related to Shilo then. Now I'm 29 and I relate to Mag.

These 2 seconds of the movie totally have an impact on my life.
Sarah Brightman is the definition of perfect.
I remember years ago when this came out I was instantly captivated by it. I watched this so much I broke the DVD and sound track. It played such a huge roll in my life it was Everything I needed, an escape from the world around me. I'd get lost for hrs wrapped up in this beautiful world that was so brilliantly created.. 💖
One thing though, I don't think that world is beautiful, not one bit
I remember seeing the first trailer and thought she was Amy Lee. Also Sarah is an amazing singer, and still beautiful.

that background part where I guess Sarah is singing "chase the morning yield for nothing" sounds like generic 80s electric pop song..
Actually, that part is sung by another singer, a woman named Nancy Long. The singer in the film is actually a projection of Shilo's mother singing. Another actress is playing the physical part of Marni.

She kinda reminds me of an evil step mother from a grimms fairy tale here for some reason. The evil characters always seem to have a British accent in most Disney cartoons too lol
