    I bought one of these from the store after watching this review. Best gi I have ever bought.

    I just ordered a 185 size and I'm 176. ALready sent a email in hope they change the size to 180... wish I had found this info earlyer, think I will regret the selected size. dammm been years since I last got a new gi :/

    Excellent review! Would you say this is usable for kumite as well?

      You can use this for Kumite but we would recommend the Tokaido Kumite GI, check it out here: shop.ensomartialarts.com/tokaido-karate-gi-kumite-master.html

    Hello
    I want a karate gi for all around 3Ks (Kata,kumite, kihon)of karate?
    Which model do you suggest me?

    • @EnsoMartialArts
      @EnsoMartialArts  Před 4 měsíci

      it really depends on the person wearing it. I personally would wear the Kata Master or Kata master Athletic

    What size would you suggest to a girl 1,67 m tall? 170 or lower size?

      its a tough on, i think the 160 would be a little to small but some clubs prefer that as a fit. With the 170 sometimes they can shrink a little in the wash but its not always a grantee and if you put it on too hot a wash it could then become too small. if you can the best way to find out is by trying one on

    What is the difference between this and the TOKAIDO Kata Master Athletic, WKF Gi please?

      Athletic gi is lighter weight with a slimfit cut :)

      @@mikecave4665 thanks, I ended up buying the athletic. Also bought the kumite athletic version too. Both really great.

    What would you recommend for 175 cm height. Does this shrink much; a few cm maybe? Thanks for your time.

      to answer my own question. I ordered a size 5. It is way too big, the skirt is almost past my knees. So I'm trying to exchange it for a size 4.

      @@animaterob Hey, I'm 176 cm, slim build. Did you go for the 4.5 or 175cm size? I don't mind it being a bit shorter at the sleeves and legs. How does it hold up over time?

    Why do the Gi sometimes look like they have a slight blue tint, does that fade?

      I think it's supposed to help reduce the yellowing effect from sweat, dirt, and aging.
