Troy’s smile made my day. This is what it’s all about. His dad is a certified badass
100%!
Dude somebody needs to hire this guy and pay him some serious cash. To do all that in 6 months on that budget in his spare time is really impressive.
I was shocked when I heard how quickly he did this build! 😳
Spoiler alert
JK
I’m impressed 👍🏻👍🏻
Respect.
I'd rather see this dude and hear his story and his truck more than all the $100k+ builds combined.
At first I cringed when he said MonsterFlow but as soon as he explained the why I was 100% on board with all of it.
More content like this please
But Flowmasters cost so little, why cut corners there?
@@TheBroLounge are Flowmaster mufflers 3 times better?
That part 🤜🏽
A afternoon with dad that will never be forgotten. 👍👍
Being a father and a grandfather , I just love seeing the smile on the young man's face ! That is what is all about ! Bringing the children into the hot rodding hobby !
And teach them to love AMERICA!!!
@@GUERRO06 amen !
That smile on his son's face says it all!
Heck ya the smile on Troy’s face!
Thats a sik ass truck! I used too have a 63 c10! Long bed! Big window Only one of my vehicles i regret selling! Man! I miss my truck!!Props to the owner! Sweet build!👌✌
The young fellas smile 😊, says it all !
Great memories are going to be the result of this awesome build.
Of Coors
This is the ultimate “built not bought “. This guy is an inspiration to me. Baby steps, tho. Maybe I’ll change my OWN oil this time.
The look on the kid's face says it all.. 😊😁 Awesome build, and mad respect for tackling it himself..
Nice truck. I love the fact this man did all the work himself and spent 15 thousand dollars. You did a great job.
Finally hear somebody in a feature saying they used electrical conduit for exhaust. Those conduit bends and pipe have worked wonders for me.
That’s an awesome home built C10!! His son had a blast, that was the coolest part!!
Amen 🙏
this truck has great personality no paint required🚫
Rattle Can!
Nothing more satisfying than building your own hot rod and getting to enjoy it with your son and family.
Its definitely true, 15k for the build, but much more than that in knowledge and enjoyment!
His son smiling is the best part!! His is loving it!
Love the beat up look of this truck and the look on Troy’s face is priceless. 😁👍
I like the patina way more than a show quality paint job
It depends on the patina in my opinion. But I’m this case the patina is absolutely beautiful on this truck!!!!
@@trevorsanchez2470 On this truck.... yeah that's what I meant👍
Hahaha! The kid loves it. What a great memory he'll have to look back on 30 years from now. Out with Dad rockin' the truck. That's a big part of hot-rodin'. "Pass me that 3/8ths kiddo"
Watching Troy smile from ear to ear was worth the price of admission. It doesn't hurt that his dad's truck is bada$$! Love seeing the home built muscle. 💪💪💪
I couldn't get past watching his sons huge grin every time dad smashed the gas, priceless!
I have such an affinity for patina cars. Unassuming yet has some of the coolest & most chill owners. And bringing in the next generation of kids into the classic car world is always a bonus! 😀👍 Also, that bed work is immaculate.
Damn near shed a man tear watching Troy smile and experience pure joy with his pops. Not even an emotional dude but that was wholesome.
What’s better than having fun with your dad and the trunk awesome video Shawn
Yes!! Fellow electrician here , glad to see the pride you have in your work !
He's a Amazing man. Great builder and father!!
Kids face is priceless 🤣 he will keep old schools alive👍
Mad respect for this guy
That my friends is a perfect example of money well spent. To be able to do a project car or truck with your own two hands and share it with your kids is priceless.
You gotta love the pure joy on that kids face when his dad does the burn out! My dad never did that in his 1963 ford Galaxy 😭
To see his sons smile priceless
Love that this dude did the budget build himself
The build went from "January to June" my follow-up question would have been "in the same year" ;)
Made props to this guy!
What a really nice truck yo.. looks, sounds and runs good. And it gives the lil dude a permanent smile from beginning to end.. Good times
Hot roddin 101. Well done. The smile on Troy's face says it all.
Nothing beats a low fat burnout, great to see a father and son loving the same thing, my kids sit in their room on their instagram and complain when my car vibrates the house
That kids smile is priceless and it goes to show you dont need a lot of cash to have fun 😎
Brother, that is such a bad ass, but simple built not over the top build if I've ever seen it. The owner so cool and down to earth. And to see his son in the truck enjoying it with him is something that will never be forgotten on this channel. Excellent interview and all else on top of it!
His son had a smirk on his fast the whole time he was in there. It was priceless! Great job!
This is my kind of build and you can tell the little guy he was all smiles
By far one of the coolest builds and favorite video.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! I LOVE HOMEBUILT HOT RODS. I LEARNED SO MUCH!!!!
His son's smile makes it all worth it he was smiling ear to ear
I love his son and the constant smile he had on his face. Great father/son bonding right there!!
He made the video! That smile says it all
I'm loving the constant grin on his son's face during the entire ride!! That's priceless!!
That's awesome. Killer ass truck and the young generation coming up
Bad freakin ass. Holy sh!t I love that pickup.
This build/video made my day! That boys smile makes me miss my dad......
His son is having the best time of his life. We are looking at a potential badass mechanic/fabricator in the future.
Awesome dad. Seeing the smile on his sons face was the highlight and that’s what the hobby of building cars is all about.
That is an awesome truck! And he built it all by himself!! Watching his boy smile the whole time just makes it even better!!
Dude my favorite part of this video is seeing his kid smile when u guys went for a ride. My little boy loves our truck build too. Maybe one day itll be cool enough to show it off to u!!
The smile on little Troy's face all worth the effort, awesome build👍
Everything about this episode was just awesome! So cool to see a badass home build like this, and the father and son duo going down the road together!! Badass!!
What a cool episode! Love seeing Troy light up
Ya know, ya just have to give it up to this guy and his efforts to build something that he has always wanted and He did it, on a budget, with OEM parts, donor parts and CZcams assistance! Seriously a Cool segment of a Guy and his determination to have his Dream become reality by his own hands. Kudos to him and to You for featuring it. The son’s smiles were never ending and priceless. I would venture to say that this life experience with his dad a garage building a custom C/10 will and has forever left an impression on his son, that will live on with him and ultimately be passed on to his child one day!
Joe's labor of love invested in this puppy are priceless.
Pure respect. Awesome build!
That was great. I love these home built hot rods. His son is hooked now too.
Just f'ing cool owner and his son. Love the done at home part and it came out awesome.😎👍
The smile on his son's face is PRICELESS!! This is what we call "quality" Father time w/their kids. o7
Great job. Great truck. Very inspirational. Love the father son aspect. Troy's smile while riding with dad is just worth a million bucks. Reminds me of my child hood.
muscle cars are cool. but these "bread and butter" cars are way cooler. they were reliable solid cars for daily routine and they somehow became family members. my dad had one, my first car, ... who doesn't know these stories. now they come back home to fullfill a dream. nice. i like that!
Now this is my kind of build. I respect the craftsmanship of the big buck shop built cars but I can't relate to them. I respect someone that can make something this cool all on his own, and I can relate to it...somewhat.
Sick truck, it’s crazy how this body style has grown on me over the years. That bed modification definitely helps!!!
Troy is living the life! The truck was great but Troy stole the show!
Another great video really really love that it’s home built by an average guy I know exactly how he feels because I am building my dream truck in my garage The highlight of the video of the smile on the kids face that makes it all worth it
And Sean please do some 1988-1998 Chevy 1500
Props on the build! Rad truck and so great to share it with the family 🤘🏼
For doing all of the work himself and having only 15K in it, I can only imagine what the finished product is going to look like!
Nothing but respect. Took care of the family and did the hobby on the side and on your own ?! 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
That’s a very cool garage build, love it.
Badass trucks. I agree with everyone the best part of this truck is that it was built in his garage 🤘🏾
Every time he punches it, Kid smiles. I remember those days... PRICELESS
That’s cool love the c10
This truck and the family are the true essence of American Hotroding! Right on!!!
Agreed. Such a cool guy and his son is loving it
I love this type of build, more like this 👍
His car, his work, his man power...props...
Damn that truck is beautiful and awesome truck. This is the best channel o CZcams. Great video after Great Video.
Right? Definitely one of my favorite CZcams channels as well!! Shawn is so lucky lol he gets to ride in and also drive most of these badass cars and trucks!!!!
The look on Troy's face is priceless ... nothing like experiencing life through the eyes of a child .
Love that “rustic authentic don’t paint weather beated” body! I would love to own a truck like this one day.
This one is so well done!
Flowmonster exhaust is actually pretty good because it sounds like the old-school discontinued Flowmaster
That kids smile! He gets it !
Man dose this guy know how to stretch a buck, l just loved the look on his young son's face. That was priceless. For the money he has in this truck it's just kick ass. Keep up the good work and keep the videos coming, thanks again.
Perfect amount of patina on this truck. Looks great, sounds great. All around awesome build
Awesome build, I am inspired and respect all the hard work you have done. I looooove the truck, sooooo cool. My dad has his own electrical company so I have been working as an electrician since the age of 12. I had to chuckle as I used 2" EMT on my 51' Chevy Sedan when I was a teenager for my exhaust. Duals coming off of a 350/350 turbo conversion into Cherry Bombs. The pipes don't rust out, lol. I am going to be doing a 64' C20 long box with a 472/400 Turbo out of a 68 Caddy. I want to air bag it also. I am going to leave it a long box and leaving the sweet patina paint. Hopefully I will have time next year unless I do the 67' Camaro first. Can't make up my mind which one to do first. Decisions Decisions.....
Love how dude mutted this truck together, mix and match till it's exactly how he likes it. 👌👍
Very nice!! Love me a nice old school c10 build!! She sounds absolutely amazing man!! And under the hood is very clean!! All around super clean truck!! Like that you kept the old school patina!!
This is how to “hot rod” right here! Electricians can get it done!
Maaaan, I love these C-10s. That kid was all smiles, ear to ear.
He loves it and I love Joe’s approach on this one
Much respect to this Man !!! 💪👍
The grin on that kids face is priceless! Well played!
Love the swamper in the middle with that smile, reminds me of myself when I was his age riding with my brother. The memories man.
That 62 is about as good as it gets. It's got all the right stuff, Stance, patina, Mexican blankets, White and teal paint.
Love it! Plumber by trade here. I drive a 2017 Chevy Express, 6.0/6L90e. It’s nearly 10,000lbs but the big girl can get up and move. I’ve been impressed by it. I love the fact he did this swap.
That boys face is how you end a show man, hell yeah
Troy's going to go through some tyres during his lifetime.
Great build. Love his sons chuckle after the burnt out. Priceless
His son is hooked for life
The kids reaction when his dad gases it says it all! Great build. Turned out awesome.
I love this build, the labor of love shows and the proud dad look on his face. I have so much respect for these garage built do it yourself.
