And despite having a literal practice squad around him, Wentz set an NFL record for throwing 4,000+ yards while ZERO of his WRs had at least 500 yards receiving. Wentz threw for 27 TDs (Which was more than Brett Favre's career average) and only 7 INTs while taking that practice squad to the playoffs. That should have been very promising for the GM to realize that Wentz was the only bright spot on the team. But instead of rewarding Wentz that year, Howie drafted a QB. In 2020, Wentz did what he had to do to get out of Philly. It worked. In 2021 Wentz was a top 10 QB yet again while having his #1 WR out for 9 games and his #3 WR out for 5 games. But unfortunately, Jim Irsay publicly wanted his entire team to get the fauci sauce injected into their arms. But when Wentz refused, Jim didn't like that. So then out of literal nowhere the media started pushing more lies about Wentz and Pat McAfee started to dog on Wentz harder than any player so that Jim Irsay could trade Wentz with no fan backlash. Then in 2022 Wentz had the worst O-Line in the NFL which is the reason why he broke his finger in game 6. But thru the 1st 5 games, Wentz was top 5 in both passing yards and passing TDs. Then Ron Rivera mismanaged the QB situation in an epic failure which is part of the reason Ron got fired recently... Because the media lapdogs pushed verifiably false narratives about Wentz (disproven by teammates and coaches from multiple different organizations), the sheeple NFL fans and NFL teams pretended like Wentz was magically not a top 10 QB. Flr the majority of 2023 until the Rams finally stopped pretending... Then Wentz just beat the 49ers while the 49ers played Bosa, Kinlaw, Young, Gregory, Hargrave, Womack, Lenoir, and Ward for most of the game, and Wentz didn't have Cooper Kupp, Williams, and his full O-Line
