Father Michael is the Fulton Sheen of our time. And I am more grateful every time I listen to him.
He indeed is. At our home growing up we never missed a Sunday of Bishop Sheen. He was so amazing. We older children even hung on his words and he speeches and sharing of stories grounded us even more in our faith. We were so lucky to attend Catholic school for all our years and I am so grateful I grew up in the times I have.......still at my age I am so grateful to have had that gift of education.

Thank you God because everything I am, everything I have comes from You!!! Grateful that I understand that better with time. It is more challenging to live through trials and tribulations here on earth, which is purification of the soul. Dear God, please help each of your children through their trials and tribulations, to look upon these as areas of personal growth toward holiness, especially when these things weigh upon us and we don't understand Your Will and Way for each of us all the time. Dear God, please help each of us every day to convert to you, to repent of our sins, to be grateful, holy, to increase our faith in You, to trust and honor You, to do Your Will, with eyes to see and ears to hear, to become the saints You created each of us to be for You! 8:09, this is it, and it doesn’t come naturally for me so I want to start writing down my gratefulness, gratitude, every day. I used to do it and had so much joy and peace in my life.
One day I want to make the trip to go hear Father Mike at a Mass at this parish. These videos popped up in my feed several months ago and he has enlightened me so much in his homilies.
I don’t believe in coincidences, I believe in Divine Providence.

Losing a child and grandchild is perhaps the most difficult thing any parent can endure. We are praying that you persevere and keep your faith. I haven't been very grateful this year. I haven't had a home, for aong time, been dealing with despair and hace zeeo suporrt, but mem like me are left behind by a society thst allowed it. Ilost my car years back, had a ex GF leave me and miscarried the child, blamed it on me. Life isn't butterfly and roses and being wealthy well off wouldn't change it. It would just get me out of povety. I resent and despise my narcissistic mentally ill, abusive in every mother and my unloving father. It is hard to impossible to love for me, it doesnt come naturally. There are things worth far more than money.satan is evil and his children have stolen a lot from me. I hope Yeshua/Jesus does heal me. I am the end of the rope and hope to move to another State. Not my fault I never had a loving father, but unable to "get over it." I am not a Catholic and don't go to any Sunday "church"anymore. I got disillusion into that religious racket that doesn't bother to help me or others at the bottom of barrell. America is evil, since it allows abuse and neglect of children. This is a good sermon.
