Pray 🙏 in solitude...
To talk to your heavenly Father with your heart and soul.
Thank you Fr Mike. I will never get out of the kiddie pool if I don’t go into the deeper water, I won’t survive the deeper water without effort and discipline. Daily, early, persistently & consistently. 🙏
Well said Father Mike! Thank you!🙏🏽
You are so unselfish and such a wonderful example. It is something new for me to see. Thank you.😊
Yes...a so much needed homily and a beautiful one at that. Amen 🙏 Salve Maria 🙏
I would love to give this a thousand likes❤❤❤ Thank you Father Mike.
Dear Fr. Michael, your homily has touched my life in various ways, and I am very thankful for having God bless me with this gift. Being a Catholic is very easy, but being a real practicing Catholic is difficult, and I love my Catholic faith because of this. I was not a good person, but today, I am discovering Jesus in special and sometimes strange moments in my life. Jesus, bless our priest, bless Fr. Mike and all my brothers and sisters who have yet to discover you in their life. Amen.
Hi Father Mike! My name is Ron!

Just what I needed to hear! I need more discipline in my life, prayer is the first step.
Thank you for this homily, it's one of your best.
Father Michael

Greetings from Dublin
Without prayer, we are lost. God has given us the blueprint of life. God is good all the time.
Thank you Fr. You made that crystal clear 🙏
All the time, God is good. Amen. Repeat.
🙏 I needed to hear this today!🙏

💯❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🙏THANK YOU!
Thank you Rev Fr Mike for explaining the 3 parts/moments of prayer within the context of the Holy Eucharist ( Mass ).
Absolutely excellent homily Father. Thank you! You are a gift of God to us!
Fantastic homily Father!! Thank you!!!
The holy Spirit has spoken through you. Praise God!!🙏
Prayer an act of humility 🙏
Thank you !
Father Mike, you are a blessing to me. Thank you for your wisdom and guidance 🙏.
In prayer I begin to know myself the one God created
God Bless you, Fr. Mike. What a powerful homily. Thank you for being such a great servant of God teaching us how to live.
Thank you so much for that inspiring homily Fr. Mike. We need someone like you to stir our parish up. God bless you and keep speaking to us.
I hear you, Father, loud and clear... I must pray.I do pray, all day long: the Angelus and Rosary, as well as contemplative prayer and some meditation, but Jesus is always in my mind. I once heard a local priest exclaim that simply thinking of God all day is very powerful prayer.
Another "pull-no-punch-but-delivered-with-charity" homily. You are so correct. It is a waste of time going to Holy Mass if one doesn't pray. It works, because it worked for me. I wasn't always a good person.
This homily is a prophetic word ro me today . Bcos am kind of ... I keep on praying
Excellent!! Excellent!! Excellent!!!
Thank you Father. This was a fantastic homily. I hope people will heed your very crucial message. God bless you
Thank you Father Mike. When you said speak Lord your servant is listening. I started to cry. This really hit me. I have been asking myself what more can I do. Thank you for showing me the way.✝️❤️
Beautiful homily Father Mike as always great homilys to guide us❤
Love this... you're right Fr Mike...best time for me to pray the rosary is first thing in the morning, or else it's bedtime and I'm falling asleep in getting it "done". So when I wake up... sometimes at 3-4am, I start with my devotion to our Blessed Mother... sets my day a right!
Gonna share with all my friends (whether they like it or not!) because - "woe to me if I do not preach / share the gospel".
A Day in The Life of Jesus: For This Purpose, I Have Come: He Is Still at Work: Like Jesus may we always make time to Pray Alone and If Possible, in a Place where we are not Disturbed. Pray Without Ceasing 1- Thessalonians 5 -16:18.
Thank You Rev. Mike O'Connor & God Bless! ⛪
We lay down our lives in prayer. One can not pray all the time - if we do not pray at set times. 😇😇😇💙🙏🏽💫
I MUST LISTEN, LEARN OR B LOST..
I 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 for my loneliness to end but in my ❤️ that will only happen when I die and meet God
Praise God, I thank God for you father Mike. God has answered my questions through you father Mike. Thank you. May God bless you , in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Health Service officials have said believers live longer. Prayer is much more powerful from this life. Every day our prayers help others more than if we were dead. Our Guardian Angel , et al, know this fact.
Yes because I’m on YT 😔
❤
Fr Mike thank you. Fr are you brother to fr Mark Goring?
3397 is right on.😂
So I must pray, but when God ignores me, I’m somehow at fault for that? God ignoring me tells me that I’m not now, nor will I ever be, good enough for God to ever hear me pray. I see no point in communicating to a God that will never hear me, regardless of what I do
What do you want me to do?

So, why is it called " Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church"? Do you belong to her? was she crucified for you? were you baptized into her name?
Because The Church Was Named in Honor of The Blessed Virgin Mary The Mother of Our Lord Jesus Christ! ⛪
@@mariettatrapani291 And? The Church is the bride of Christ, why would the bride of Christ be called the Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church? I looked up Catholic Churches in my area and here are some names, Guadalupe Catholic Church, Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, All Saint Catholic Church, Saint Patrick Cathedral Catholic Church, Saint Andrew Catholic Church, Saint Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, Saint Bartholomew Catholic Church.
The Apostle Paul says in 1 Cor 1:12 " Each one of you says, " I belong to Paul" or "I belong to Apollos", or "I belong to Cephas", or " I belong to Christ". Is Christ DIVIDED? Was Paul CRUCIFIED FOR YOU? or were you baptized into the name of Paul"? The answer is, NO , Paul was not crucified for you, nor were you baptized into his name, so you do not belong to Paul. The same with Apollos, Cephas, BUT WHAT ABOUT CHRIST? Yes, he was crucified for me, YES I was baptized into his name, so I belong to him.
So, is Christ divided? why do you wear the name Mary? Saint Patrick? Saint Andrew? etc....did they die for you? were you baptized into their name? No, you were not, so you do not belong to them, so why do you wear their name? IS CHRIST DIVIDED? apparently so in the Catholic Church. Romans 16:16 " the Churches of Christ salute you" Gal 1:22 " not known by sight to the Churches of Christ in Judea". I belong to Christ
We pray for you Danny.
Our Lady is our Blessed, Spiritual Mother. We honor our Blessed Mother because of Her perfect "Yes" to God. We unite our imperfect "Yes" to God with Her perfect "Yes." We develop a relationship with Her through prayer (the Rosary). As that relationship grows, our Blessed Mother forms us into worthy brothers and sisters of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We ask Her to help us become holy, so that one day we may deserve to stand before our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, as His worthy brothers and sisters. Our Blessed Mother is the greatest help we have on the path to holiness.
@@mariettatrapani291 And? Look at some of the names of Catholic Churches, " Guadalupe Catholic Church", "Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church", " All Saints Catholic Church", " St. Patrick Cathedral Catholic Church', "St. Andrew Catholic Church", "St. Thomas Catholic Church", " St. Bartholomew Catholic Church".
Eph 5:23 " Christ is the head of the Church, HIS BODY, and is HIMSELF ITS SAVIOR. As the Church is subject to Christ...Christ loved the Church and GAVE HIMSELF UP FOR HER." 2 Cor 11:2 " I betrothed you to Christ to present you as a pure bride to her one husband."
So, the Church is the bride of Christ and the bride wears the name "St Thomas"? "Mary"? "St Andrew"? So, Christ was crucified for me, I was baptized in the name of Christ, I belong to him 1Cor 1:12-13 deals with this. One day when you stand before the Good Lord, you can tell him why it was called " St Thomas Catholic Church" etc......
