The main thing I don’t like with the DB5 are the headlights but they’re so difficult to get right and the problem with yours is that they’ve lost the sloping look, your custom now looks like an Aston Martin DB4 instead of a DB5.
You should exchange the "Tile, Modified 4 x 4 with Studs on Edge" on the roof for two 2 x 4 tiles. I did it on my model and it looks much cleaner this way. I have no idea why the model designers didn't use 2 x 4 tiles in the first place.
“FiRsT gIvE mE tHe MiRrOr” bro they literally said in all the interviews they couldn’t add it because it made the set full of holes and made it look worse than the source material
Surely Lego can offer a hinged doors solution for these Speed Champions though by now seeing there are so many of them lol. Opening the roof as the only way instead of doors is kind of lame.
I would use single round flat gray bricks for your mirrors. otherwise it looks pretty great. Personally I thought about building a variant with machine gun headlights.
Your version is so much better than the official one! The stickers and the lack of wing mirrors is crazy. It’s insane how LEGO can do an amazing Speed Champions set like the Lamborghini Countach one second and then fail with the DB5 the next!
@@thegreenbrick What do you think about the steeringwheel and the hands of the minifigure? His right hand can't hold the steering wheel cause of the window. Do you think it can be fixed?
I didn't actually believe the new one could be improved so much, great job!!
Thank you so much! 😄
The rear is better with the added bricks, but I prefer the original's front-end.
I never noticed the missing side mirrors before now lol. The profile is just so sleek for a small Lego car
These are actually some pretty nice mods, good job!
With the new castle plate I’d be fine with it. The way it’s modded right now I prefer the original. The headlights don’t look right either on the mod.
That’s fair.
Nice video and good job !

really great mods. the round edges and the mirrors truly are important. I personally didn’t like the headlight brick piece for the original model

You’re right. That does look better!

Oh ok. I wasn't aware of this. Thanks for the heads up, bro!
@@thegreenbrick sorry if I came across as rude
@@The_Meme_Almanac hah so rude 👁️👄👁️
Does this come with passenger seats (My LEGO Minecraft mini figure needs to transport Minecraft LEGO Steve)
@@thunderbolttdmplayz6750 it does but you can’t put figures in the back

Thanks. I like your ideas!
@@thegreenbrick I like your mod. ;D
The mod mirrors are far too big, the only thing I like are the struts on the Windows and the reverse of the roof tile
Black Sticks or TnT for the guns?

Thank you for the positive feedback!
Yeah i have 3 of those and 2 of this one lol
I think it's an excellent set and the lack of mirrors doesn't hurt it much.
@@Norbert011 honestly I didn't even notice until now 😂
@@Gameprojordan I also didn't notice it at first lol
Do you think it's possible to adjust the backseats so that an minifigure can sit there?
I tried it out, but I couldn’t find enough room between the chassis and the roof. 😄

Awe man sorry you got a lemon 🤧
Go check out Brick Blocks and Mocs' mod

James Bond doesn't need side mirrors.
How else is he going to be able to time his oil slick?
The roof is meant to be like how u modded it
The instructions say to put it forwards
Minifig is too small to car
Looks fine in the car
