    Only true showman,he earned his greatness,it wasn't hand-out to him.

    The stuff he was doing in crowds of 3-4 has never ever been close to replicated. There will never be anyone near his level

    Its a crazy thing to say, but i believe now a days he's being underrated..

      Of course he is underrated. I'm hearing things about 6 rings, clutch genes etc and I get irritated. Dont they remember that he retired as the unanimous best ever ALREADY at 1993? His sublime quality of play and his consistency at continually expanding our perception of how more excellent he could be, was his ticket to everlasting glory, not some stats that simply came as the unavoidable result of his prowess.

    I remember that game 6 against the Jazz, I was driving home like 100 miles per hour to catch the last remaining minutes of the game. I had to pull over the side of the road for that final play on the radio, that signature move for that pull up jump shot. I remember where I was and I remember the thrill of that moment. I get goose pimples thinking about that play and all those memories of the G.O.A.T, the legend that is Michael Jeffrey Jordon.

      In terms of aesthetics...the best looking jumpshot ever made in basketball. One shot for all the marbles. The whole sequence of events that led to the shot was what made Jordan who he was over his whole career... simply the best.

    What he did in a basketball game no one can come close noooo one he was truly amazing you know he’s the true Goat when they always try to compare other athletes to him Facts

    Players today shake n bake (sometimes dribbling for almost the entire shotclock) with all kinds of fancy handles to lose their opponents and get open. This guy shook opponents while gliding through the air, going up, over, around, under, and even in between defenders for buckets (let that sink in). What Picasso was to painting Michael was to basketball.

    Great compilation and an awesome display of extremely difficult shots. No one else has ability like Jordan had. It is ridiculous

  • @jordanlover23

    Amazing compilation of some rare highlights. It's a joke to say that anyone was better than this guy. People talk about "certain" people's finishing ability in today's game, but the paint is wide open, there's no contact and no big men shotblockers. Meanwhile Jordan was shooting 70+% inside against a packed paint with 3-4 bodied and big men camped inside. Not even a contest.

    • @bwink23
      @bwink23 Před 5 lety +4

      Yeah I agree. A player today going down the lane already assumes the lane will be weakly protected. In Jordan's time, if you have the notion of attacking the rim, you are immediately thinking bodies will be thrown your way.

    • @popeyeisgood
      @popeyeisgood Před 5 lety +6

      no contact is the key. the defense is clearly a lot lax vs the 90s. today you see center on defense keep moving their feet back toward the rim when the offense player applies just light pressure with his back facing the defender. the lack of physical interfering with armbars, hand grab/hand check and screening is the reason why there are so many alley-oops today. in the past the big men would be entangling with each other trying to fight for a position, which will result in a foul today. because of that, the receiver of the alley oop can just roll (or slide) into the spot for a easy dunk without any resistance, even in a slow and set half court offense possession. and the guy who throw the lob will usually be protected by the ref for any hand laid on them. in addition to this, there are a tons of not so subtle change of rules to basically disallow any player to play d like it used to be in the 90s.

    There’s a play from the 1989 semifinals against the Knicks when Mike was driving took off floated by three defenders and just flipped up for the scoop shot.

    thanks for the continuous effort for putting great jordan video on youtube.
    i still regard your 5+ hr long jordan highlight video to be the go to answer for anyone who doubt this dude is the best.
    a variety of spin moves while driving starting at 3:09 are great examples of why that muscular turd who call himself the best of all time is no where being as good as jordan. notice how jordan resolve to spin when he faced heavy traffic. you can't say the same thing about lebron. just look at the game against the lowly grizzles yesterday, the final 5 mins or so he did his terrible looking slow mo 'spin' moves trying to pound his way to the rim with no ability or intention of getting pass his defender. i could write a 20 pages essay about how shitty lebron is vs jordan easily, any seasoned and rational bball fan will know and can agree upon.
