Fav popcorn flavour and the last movie you watched - GO! Onion & Dill and "No Time To Die" ... gosh it's been awhile since we've watched a movie!
BAHAHAHA oh my gosh, that opening killed me. Thank you for the laugh... and for the turmeric popcorn tip!
Haha ❤️ thank you for watching!
I don’t ever use seed oils …. I use a dry air popper, then drizzle well with a flavorful olive oil ( Sams has a strongish flavor but I love it) and generously sprinkle my bowl with Redmond sea salt. Simply yum!
Sounds lovely! A dry air popper would be great! I’ve never had Sam’s so I’ll have to try and find it 👍🏼
Loved that intro! Haha, and what a cool tip with the turmeric!! Definitely gotta try that! Those seasonings sound amazing too!!
Haha thank you! And yes the turmeric works so well! 👍🏼
yummy yummy yummy !! :) I'm going to experience with pop corn, try buttery & salty :P (i thought about you I had a croissant this morning haha)and yes you're a great actress ! ♥you're amazing, love the intro and outro you're sweets
Hahaha yes! I’m hope you enjoyed every second of the croissant! 🥐 let me know what you think of the North American buttery popcorn 🤣thank you so much for watching as always 🥰
@@TastyThriftyTimely I did enjoy it very much !! it was so big lol and I will let you know. might go for some groceries tomorrow, move night soon ! :D
thank you for your tasty content always ♥
@@Pandore29 hehe glad you enjoyed it!! And yay for a movie night! Thank you again for always watching 🥰
I pop the popcorn on the stovetop without oil.
Thanks for the topping ideas! You guys rock!!! Best wishes.
Oh really? I'll have to give that a try again if it works for you! That's definitely my preference. They burnt a bit when I tried it but I'm using a different pot now so I'll give it another try!
@TastyThriftyTimely I have an electric burner stove. I put the corn kernels in a single layer in the heavy bottom, deep pot. I turn the temp to medium high, shake the pot every 30 seconds or so to move the kernels around. Once the popping starts, I lower the heat to medium, shake the pot every so often to move the kernels around, and turn the heat off when the popping has just about stopped and remove pan from the heat. Hope this helps you have no burnt kernels. Usually, there are very few unpopped kernels....like maybe 3 to 5.
Best wishes!
@@name.terrie awesome ok thank you so much! I have a newer electric cooktop now so I’ll give it a try and hopefully have more luck this time!
Hey Kathryn! Absolutely loved this Vegan popcorn, especially with a healthier oil free version! I liked the step by step guide, which looks so easy. I really can’t wait to try the turmeric version. Also great to see different flavours, including nutrition yeast & experimenting with functional side of sticking. Thanks for the inspiration. Keep up the great work, James 😊👏🏼
Thank you so much James 🥰 the oil free option is definitely our go to but the turmeric stove top version is a lot of fun when you really want it to feel like movie theatre popcorn!
popcorn is my all time favourite snack - cant wait to try all these seasonings!
Yay! You’ll have to keep me posted and let me know which flavours you like best! 🍿
I use an air popper machine (bought for $20) as that uses no oil at all too. Thank you for the flavouring ideas.
The intro was great!
Yes that’s definitely the best way to do it with no oil! Thanks again for watching:) glad you liked the intro 😜
Me too! I've been using an air popper since 19 80 ish
Haha that’s great! Love those items that work and last forever 🍿
Ah yes my favorite Simon & Garfunkle song, 'the silence of sizzling' :P
Nice popcorn-colored shirt btw!
LOL right!? And thank you! I don’t always match the food but when I do it’s usually by accident 🤣
Question for the seasoning, do you add it to the pot before popping or after?
Great question! The turmeric, for colour, I add to the pot but the seasonings for the specific flavours I add after the popcorn is made! Hope this helps 👍🏼
