In many places, brake checking is a serious offense up to and including jail time. Especially if it results in an accident. Passing on a double line is reckless driving and that's 4 points on insurance where I live. Dude in the mini was in so much trouble. He looked so deservedly defeated after the trucker pointed at the camera. I hate road rangers. I needed a car after mine was hit, so my husband got a great deal on a Corvette. It was part of a friend's divorce settlement and we got an insane deal. Point being that it wasn't my choice nor my style. I had to drive it to work and other places... It was embarrassing. That car had a target painted on it for every idiot on the road. People would drive alongside me on the highway wanting to race or whatever I don't know... I'd get looks while pumping gas. It was a drama magnet. The minute I pulled out on the road.

There's a reason WHY dashcams were popular with truckers YEARS before they became popular with other drivers - they were targets of a lot of scammers.
They're still very UNCOMMON in the states outside of CDL drivers. I would not go anywhere without mine.
